Harry's POV

I knocked on the door of Perrie's house but there was no answer. I waited a while then decided to just walk in. I was picking Ally up for school and I didn't want her to be late. I walked through the hallway to find Ally in the washroom getting ready.

"Hey there, squirt! You didn't get the door for me!" I exclaimed nudging her in the side. She laughed looking away from what she was doing.

"Why should I?" she asked smiling devilishly at me. I smirked,

"Because I'm the one who's been taking you to and from school and the hospital." She gasped and I laughed. She pursed her lips trying to think a response.

"So maybe you do but it's not like I need you to," she put her hands on her hips. I leaned against the wall with my arms crossed.

"Well, you'd be thankful for me driving you if you knew how far you would walk in a day without me," I said and she just waved me off. I walked out into the hall to wait for her when I heard quiet sobs coming from down the hall. I knew it had to be Perrie as she was the only other person in the house. I walked into her room to see her on the floor with her head in her hands. I sat down beside her and pulled her into a hug. I rubbed her back up and down.

"What's happened, love? What's wrong?" I asked her trying to comfort her the best I could. Her tears soaked through my shirt but soon slowed down after a bit of comforting. She took a deep breath before explaining.

"Zayn..." she paused after saying his name. "He-he had been drinking a lot over the past couple of weeks. Last night, he was drinking and driving and got into a car accident and tricked me into picking him up. I had had enough of how he had been showing up drunk to see the girls, if he did at all," she started to cry again. I hugged her close trying to calm her down again. She sat up and put her head in her hands.

"I broke up with him," she sighed, finally regaining her composure. I was shocked to hear that she had ended things with Zayn. They had been together for so long.

"He's not allowed in this house until he goes and gets himself together," she added sternly. I nodded and stood up with her. I looked to the door and saw Ally standing there with this look of sadness on her face. She sped off to her room and slammed the door.

Perrie's POV:

When I saw Ally at the door I knew I had to fully explain what had happened. I assumed she hadn't heard the whole conversation. She ran off and I went after her.

I knocked on the door and there was no answer. I opened it and saw Ally sitting on her bunk, crying. I walked over to her and put a hand on her back. She turned to me.

"Why did you break up with dad?" she cried. I looked at her sadly and tried to put it into words. Even if I had just explained it, it's hard to say to someone who took it harder. I just hoped she would understand.

"Zayn was heavily drinking. He got in a car accident after he was drinking and he tricked me into picking him up. We were fighting earlier and I just couldn't take it anymore, I didn't want him hurting anyone else" I explained. Her expression softened. She hugged me and I smiled. I pulled away and wiped her tears.

She stood up and met Harry out side the door. She gave him a hug and we walked into the foyer so I could see her off. She put on her backpack and gave me a big hug. I smiled at her affection.

"I love you," she said smiling as well. "even if you broke up with dad," she added making me laugh.

"I love you too."
