Forty Nine

The group that still sat around the living quarters are silent for a moment. No one speaks up now that Jeongguk and Jimin have left. However, Hoseok and Namjoon are only quiet because Yoongi is allowing them to sit right next to him and Hoseok is gently playing with a singular ring that is on his fingers.

Yoongi sighs breaking the silence, he leans his head onto Namjoon's shoulder as he thinks about the previous conversation.

"I didn't realise how bad it is" Jihyun speaks up, also following with his own sigh. Yoongi nods his head. "Jeongguk is helping him" he speaks up, "He's very slowly coming back to himself."

"We need it to come quicker with this war coming up" Jihyun comments. He doesn't mean to sound harsh but it was the truth. Out of everyone there, Jimin and Jihyun together are a forced to be wrecked with. They could easily win this if Jimin was the person he was before.

But they don't have much time before the announcement and it'll be quick coming after that.

"What are you talking about?" Namjoon questions, reaching over for Yoongi's empty hand, lacing his fingers with his.

"Jihyun and Jimin used to be two of the best fighters of our pack. They were even be better than his father when they were together" Yoongi explains.

"Jimin's wolf is insane" Jihyun adds in. Hoseok shivers as he thinks back to the look on Jimin's face that night when Jeongguk had broken out of the rut room.

"He had Jeongguk at his feet the other night" Hoseok comments, Jihyun chuckles and nods his head. "His wolf is no joke" he makes eye contact with Jihyun who seems to have a proud smile on his face.

"His eyes have started to turn white again" Yoongi informs Jihyun, who takes in the information. He is happy to hear that, that just means that Jimin is in fact turning back into the wolf he was before.

"Can I ask what happened?" Namjoon questions, looking between both Jihyun and Yoongi for permission. Jihyun nods his head in Yoongi's direction, he knows about everything, however he wasn't there when it happened.

"The Yu alpha happened" Yoongi shrugs his shoulders. "They didn't announce it, they just showed up one night when we were unprepared" Yoongi starts off, thinking back to that night, he lost his first mate that night, they had only just mated not long beforehand.

"That's a cheap move" Hoseok scoffs, Yoongi nods his head. "But it worked for him, he was always a piece of shit" Jihyun chuckles at Yoongi's words, Jihyun had only met the alpha once and he thought so as well.

"Jimin fought alongside his parents the best he could, however his mother was attacked from behind" Yoongi glances Jihyun's way. His mate reaches for his hand, using her other hand to rub his arm in a comforting manner.

"I can stop if it's too much, Jihyun" Yoongi says but the alpha just shakes his head in return. It was hard to hear but he had accepted what happened a long time ago. "I'm okay" he reassures and gestures towards him again.

"His mother had passed instantly and since Jimin and his father were distracted, they were attacked also" Yoongi closes his eyes as he enjoys the feeling of Hoseok and Namjoon's hands on his own.

It wasn't very often at all when he would let them be this close to him, so they were going to take advantage of it.

"So they killed his parents in front of him..?" Namjoon questions softly, trying not to glance towards the pack alpha across from them. Yoongi hummed, nodding his head.

"Jimin started to wither and when Alpha Yu claimed him, his wolf went dorment" Yoongi continues, relaxing back into the couch more.

"His wolf has only just resurfaced within the last couple of years" the male informed the group. Jihyun knows of what had happened but hearing how hard his brother has had it since he had to leave, it makes his stomach turn nauseously.

He can't do anything about the past now, so he is more determined to help his brother out as much as possible. Afterall, it is only the two of them left from the original Park Pack.

"You know, we haven't had Jimin with us very long, but everything about him screams power. I don't know why that Alpha wouldn't use that" Namjoon voices out. He knows it sounds bad, but having such a powerful wolf by his side, he wouldn't be were he was now, it was only logical.

"As I said, his wolf went dorment." Yoongi explains, opening his eyes and looking up at the alpha next to him. "The alpha tried to have him fight by his side but without the wolf, he just wasn't able to fight as well as before, so he got injured again" he adds on.

"As I said, he'll be back to himself if he does some training" Jihyun speaks up, smiling over at his mate. He taps on a hand on her leg as he makes a move to stand up.

"For now, we shall head back to help set up our camp" He says with a smile, helping his hand to stand from the couch.

Hoseok quickly stands also, his hand slipping from Yoongi's. "I'll escort you" he say, throwing a quick glance down to Yoongi, then Namjoon.

Jihyun hums, he looks between the three males before he lets out a chuckle, amused at the dynamic they seem to have going on.

He'll mention it to the younger male later when the other two aren't about.

Yoongi watches as the three of them leave, the empty spot next to him felt strange. So he rested his head against Namjoon's arm once again, closing his eyes for a moment.

"Should we go find the little one?" Namjoon questions softly, his thumb gently rubbing back and forth on the back of Yoongi's hand.

The smaller male just shook his head. "The pup is fine with the carers for a bit longer" he voices out, sinking more into Namjoon's side. "Let's just stay like this for a bit."

Namjoon hums softly, resting his own head on top of Yoongi's lightly. He was going to enjoy the moment while he can.

So as you can probably see, I have updated.

I am going to try and keep updating, I kind of go stuck in a BL trap, All i have been doing in my spare time is watch BLs, so if anyone needs and recs, i'm your person ;)

I've sort of watched all of the ones on my watch list, so I think i'll be slowing down with how much I watch now, which will leave room for more writing.

Speaking of which, I have this story idea of which I was planning on doing as an original and a fanfic.

Anyways, what are some more courting gifts that you guys would like to see? The more out of the box ideas the better, I was thinking more nontraditional, you know.

Also, now we have a bit more of a backstory of jimin and jihyun together, they are going to become unstoppable and inseparable.

Just a reminder but it has also been about four weeks since jm lost his pup, so you guys should know what is coming very soon hehe
