LIAM
Niall was supposed to babysit Milo that Friday afternoon, but his boyfriend had asked him to please babysit in his place because he had a terrible headache, and he wanted to sleep it off.
And of course Liam agreed, he had the afternoon free after all, and he loved spending time with his baby godson, so that was what he was doing at that particular time.
"Milo let's play with this now" Liam said showing Milo his toy telephone.
But Milo crawled away from him, and when he reached the couch, he held on to it, and he pulled himself up into a standing position.
"When did you learn to do that?" Liam asked amazed.
Milo looked at him, giggled, and then he plopped down on his bum, and laughed some more.
"You're so smart bunny!" Liam cooed, picked him up from the floor and lifted him up over his head "Yes you are, a very smart bunny".
Milo giggled so more, he was such a cute and adorable baby, it was impossible not to love him.
"Let's try it again" Liam said and placed Milo back on the floor.
The baby crawled back to the couch, and did the same thing again, and then he looked at Liam, as if waiting for his approval.
"Good job, Milo!" Liam clapped.
Milo let go of the couch, fell on his bum again, and he began clapping too, imitating Liam.
"Yay!" Liam said to Milo while he continued clapping.
Milo laughed, and he crawled into Liam's lap, and lifted his arms up at him, which meant he wanted to be held.
"Come here" Liam cooed, and kissed his blonde head "I love you, baby bunny".
The baby looked up at him, his blue eyes wide, and he started babbling nonsense at him.
"Can you say uncle Liam?" Liam tried, but he knew that was too much to ask "What about papa? Can you say papa? Pa-pa".
"Aaa-aaa" Milo babbled.
Liam was going to keep trying to get him to say 'papa', but his phone started ringing, so he picked it up.
"Hey, mum" Liam greeted.
"Hi, sweetie" Karen replied "How are you?".
"I'm good, what about you?" Liam asked in turn, as he got up and sat on the couch, leaving Milo to play with his toys on the floor.
"I'm good, but I miss you" Karen answered "When are you coming to visit us?
"I'm not sure, maybe next weekend, or the one after that" Liam replied.
"I was hoping you would say you were coming here right now" his mum said in a sad voice.
"I couldn't go this weekend, it's uhm... it's Valentine's day on Sunday, which is mine and Niall's anniversary" Liam explained.
It was strange, but he didn't feel completely comfortable speaking about his relationship with Niall with his mum. He wasn't quite sure why that was, because his mum had been very accepting of it since he told her, but he suspected it could be because his dad still didn't know, so he felt it was a little of a taboo subject.
"I didn't know that" Karen said surprised "Are you boys doing anything special?".
"Dad's not there with you, right?" Liam asked, suddenly panicking.
"No, but you shouldn't have to ask that" Karen said, her voice serious.
"What?" Liam asked confused.
