LOUIS

"Harry!" Louis exclaimed the second he saw him coming into the flat.

"Hey" Harry greeted.

"Why didn't you call me? What happened? Is Niall okay?" Louis asked immediately.

"Yeah, he's fine, and the baby too" Harry replied as he took off his jacket.

"Thank god, I've been so worried" Louis said relieved "So what was it?".

"Stress, basically, apparently his blood pressure was really high when we got there".

"Did he have to stay at the hospital?" questioned Louis, as they both sat down on the couch.

"Yes, the doctor said he wanted to monitor his blood pressure overnight, but he can probably go home tomorrow, so I'm picking him up in the morning" Harry explained.

"I already talked to Liam, so he'll be able to go to his flat" Louis announced.

"Yeah, I figured you had talked to him when he showed up at the hospital".

"I told him not to do that!" Louis said, feeling a little pissed.

"We can't really blame him, he was worried about Niall and their baby" Harry shrugged "I would have done the same if it had happened to you and the beans".

"Yeah, I get it, but didn't it upset Niall again?" Louis asked worried.

"He didn't go inside, I bumped into him in the parking lot, assured him Niall and the baby were okay, and told him the best he could do for them was to leave, and he eventually agreed" explained Harry.

"I think it's for the best that he keeps his distance for at least a little while" Louis commented.

"Yeah, I think so too" Harry agreed.

"But Hazza, I also think we shouldn't get in the middle of it, they should figure this thing out on their own".

"Of course".

"That means not picking sides" Louis said, knowing Harry wasn't thinking of that.

"It's kind of difficult not to pick sides, Lou" Harry replied.

"I know you feel protective of Niall, but they're both our friends" Louis reminded him.

"But Liam is the one in the wrong here" Harry argued.

"I understand why you would say that, but maybe you have to put yourself in his shoes" Louis tried "It's hard for some people to come out".

"I know that, but there's going to be a baby in the picture soon, and I'm sorry, but a baby takes priority over anything else".

"But Liam's not avoiding his responsibility, he wants to be a father to his baby, he's just having trouble coming clean to his family" Louis said.

"But how would you feel if you were Niall? If right now, being pregnant, I hid you from my family?" Harry dared.

"I would feel terrible, Hazza, and I know that's how Niall feels, I'm not trying to belittle his side here" Louis explained "I'm just saying Liam isn't the villain, he's having troubles of his own, and we can't just turn our backs on him".
