HARRY

Harry's real birthday was on Monday, but because it was a working day, his mum and stepdad had come to visit him that Saturday, and all of them (Louis and Milo included) had gone out to have dinner at a restaurant to celebrate his birthday early.

"This was the best birthday dinner I've ever had" Harry said after the waiter took away his empty plate "Thanks for inviting us here".

"No problem, love" Anne smiled "I'm glad you enjoyed it".

"But you know this dinner isn't over, right?" Robin asked.

Harry raised his eyebrows in confusion, and then his stepdad smirked at him.

"No!" Harry exclaimed when he realized what he meant.

"Yes, and it's happening now" Robin said looking past him.

Harry turned around and he saw a waiter bringing a cake towards their table, followed by a bunch of other waiters and waitresses.

"You know I hate this!" Harry protested.

"But we love it" Anne grinned "Now take Milo from his chair so he can be in the pictures with you".

Harry huffed, and took his son from the high chair that was between him and Louis, and he kissed his chubby cheek just as the first waiter arrived, and placed the cake in front of him.

And then the singing began.

The waiters, plus his family... and maybe even other people from the restaurant.

Then Robin started taking pictures with Harry's camera, and he seemed so pleased with himself, Harry had to smile at him despite his hatred of being serenaded by the waiting staff of the restaurant.

But that was exactly when out of nowhere, Milo suddenly started crying his little lungs out, so Harry turned him around, and the baby buried his little face in Harry's chest, and clung to him desperately.

"Shh, it's okay Milo" Harry whispered in his ear as he bounced him a bit, to try to settle him.

"... happy birthday dear Harry, happy birthday to you!" everyone finished.

Harry made a wish in his head quickly, and blew out the candles while still bouncing a crying Milo in his arms.

Then everyone clapped, and one of the waiters took the cake away, saying he was going to be right back with pieces for everyone.

"See? This thing never has a good outcome" Harry told his parents reproachfully.

"How were we supposed to know that Milo was going to cry?" Robin asked.

"You're his grandparents, you know by now how shy he is" Harry replied.

"Haz, it's okay, he already calmed down" Louis pointed out.

"But still" Harry said looking down at his son, who had indeed stop crying, and was now just pouting a bit, so he kissed his little head and cooed at him "Poor baby didn't deserve that".

"Well, now that Milo's okay again, it's time for birthday presents" Anne announced "Louis honey, do you want to go first?".
