LOUIS
Louis was finally a University graduate.
Well, not officially, because he didn't have his diploma yet, the ceremony was the next day, but 4 days ago the results of his last exam had arrived, and he had passed it brilliantly.
So that was it, he was done, he had made it, and he couldn't have been happier.
When he found out he was pregnant with Milo almost 2 years ago, he had been so terrified that this moment was never going to arrive, but he had persevered, he had studied harder that he had ever studied, and it all had paid off.
"I'm excited" Louis said to his husband the second he got in the car.
He was picking Harry up from work so they could go to a baby appointment.
"Me too, babe" Harry said as he put on his seatbelt.
"You're excited about my graduation?" Louis asked, while he started to drive again.
"I was talking about finding out the babies' genders, but I'm excited about your graduation as well".
"Really?" Louis smiled.
"Of course, I can't wait to see you walking across that stage, I'll be the one clapping and cheering the hardest" Harry replied.
"Thanks, Haz" Louis grinned "And I'm excited about finding out the genders as well, it's just that I was thinking about having graduated while I was waiting for you, and I got excited".
"That's alright, Lou" Harry chuckled.
"So any news about the job today?" Louis asked as he stopped at a red light.
"No, but I told you, it will probably take a while, I only went to the interview on Tuesday" Harry answered.
"And I told you they're probably going to make the decision soon, there's no one better than you" Louis said confidently.
"You're my husband, you have to say those things" said Harry.
"But I mean it, besides, now that I have free time, I've been looking for places to live in Manchester" Louis announced.
"Babe, don't do that yet, I told you this is a long shot, I think there're more chances of me not getting it".
"You'll thank me when we're not living in the streets" Louis said determinately.
Harry laughed, and gave the topic a rest, and they started talking about their plans for graduation day until they reached their destination.
"Last chance, what do you think they are?" Harry asked while they waited to be called inside.
"I told you I don't know" Louis said as he rubbed his bump "But I think they're excited for us to know, they're moving like crazy".
"You need to let us see this time, baby beans" Harry said to Louis' belly, and leaned down and gave it two kisses.
Harry always did that, two kisses, because there were 2 babies, so it was one kiss each.
"They will, I'm sure, or at least one of them" Louis said with confidence, just as Harry took his phone out, it was buzzing "Who is it?
"I don't know" Harry said, and as he stood up from his seat, he answered "Hello?.... Yes, this is he...".
Harry walked away, so Louis was out of earshot, and he couldn't see his face either, so he wasn't sure what that phone call was about.
Could it have been about the job?
But would they really call him to tell him whether or not he was hired on a Friday at 5.30 in the evening?
