A/N Hi guys! I finished another chapter in between studying for my SAT's Ahhhhh can you believe it? Neither can I! But here it is! Also the pic to the side is Allison Scagliotti who play's Claudia Donovan on Warehouse 13. She is the only person if I had to pick someone who I think could be Electra. Obviously I see myself as Electra since I have put so much of myself into her. My friends say that even though I am crazy and bad ass Electra is 5x that! So yea she is the only person I could ever picture!

Doctor’s POV

I walked down the busy London sidewalk, I was on my way to a job interview my forged documents under my right arm. I was applying for a job as a physics professor at a university and I was a tad concerned about the whole fake identity thing.

Electra had assured me that forging identities in the 1950’s was about as easy as breaking into a bank in the 1800’s, wondering in the back of my mind how exactly she knew all of this I watched as I went from being the Doctor, the 900 year old alien with two hearts. Too Dr. John Matthews professor of Physics, and husband of Electra Matthews.

I reached the university and walked up the steps passing students as I went. A couple of girls winked at me and I did my best to seem polite but avoid them as I made my way into the school. I went up to the secretary and asked were the Dean’s office was.

She directed me down a hall and I continued on my way until I reached another secretary. “Hello yes, is this the Dean’s office?” I asked as she glanced up and me for a half second and then jerked her head back up grinning.

“Hi yes it is, do you have an appointment?” She asked still beaming at me and I smiled gently back “Yes! I do actually Dr. John Matthews.” I said and her smile became even wider at the mention of me being a Doctor.

“I’ll let him know that you’re here.” She said as I nodded and went over and sat down. I watched her get on the phone and speak quietly into it as she glanced over at me and smiled again, she got off the phone and spun around in her chair to face me. “The Dean can see you now.” She said as I stood up.

“Thank you very much.” I said as I offered her my left hand, the one that Electra made me put my old wedding ring on before I left this morning. I am glad I did that now, because when she saw the ring her smile faded. “She’s a lucky girl Dr. Matthews.” She said and I smiled.

I went into the Dean’s office and came face to face with a distinguished looking man in his early fifties, he had salt and pepper hair, a friendly yet stern face, and an air that said he was well educated and proud of that fact.

“Dr. Matthews it’s a pleasure to finally meet you!” The man said as he stood and walked over to me. “You too, Dr?” “Oh excuse my manners! Dr. Caldwell.” He said as he shook my hand rigorously.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you Dr. Caldwell.” I said as we went and sat down. “So Dr. Matthews I understand that you teach Physics.” Caldwell said and I nodded. “You look awfully young to be teaching Physics.” He said and I smiled.

“Well I’m older than I look sir.” I said and he nodded. “I am not underestimating your abilities, I am just stating a fact.” The man said and I smiled again. “I understand sir.” I said as he opened up the folder that contained my documents and looked through them.

“Well your resume is very impressive, and due to the fact that I am desperate for a new Physics teacher immediately, I see no reason not to hire you, so long as you can start tomorrow.” Caldwell said and I smiled wide. “Absolutely! Of course I can! Thank you, now I can actually go home and not be afraid to face my wife! I have a job!” I said cheerily as I stood and we shook hands.

“See you tomorrow John.” Caldwell said. “Yes sir, goodbye.” I said as I left the room grinning from ear to ear.

Electra’s POV

I stood in the library waiting for someone to come and assist me. The Doctor got to apply at a university, but it’s the 1950’s and in the 1950’s women rarely became doctor’s let alone professors, so I was stuck applying for a job as a librarian.

“Hello may I help you?” A woman who was clearly a librarian by the way she was dressed came up to me. I suppressed a shudder at her attire and swore to myself I would never become the librarian who wore sweaters and old lady shoes and glasses with their hair in a tight bun. It was bad enough I had to wear the outfit I was wearing.

“Hi yes, I am here to apply for the librarian position you have available.” I said and she smiled. “Of course, do you have any experience?” She asked and I handed her the folder I had been carrying. Like the Doctor’s it contained forged documents stating I was an experienced researcher and I had been a literature professors assistant.

“Well you are certainly qualified to be way more than a librarian.” The woman said as she closed the folder and handed it back to me. “Well I got married and my husband moved her for work, so this is just to occupy the time.” I said and she smiled.

“You’re a lucky girl, having a husband who lets his wife work. He’s quite the catch.” She said and I nodded. “Well I see no reason not to hire you, can you start on Monday?” She asked. “Yes! Monday’s great thanks!” I said and she smiled. “Excellent! I’m Amanda and I will be here to help you get settled on Monday Mrs. Matthews.” She said and we shook hands.

I left the library and started back to the flat. It took me about ten minutes to walk from the library to our flat so that was nice, it wasn’t far away at all. I walked up the steps and pulled out my key and went inside. The Doctor was sitting on the couch grinning from ear to ear.

“Did you get it?” I asked and he jumped up off the couch. “Yep! Hired me right on the spot!” He said happily and I hugged him. “Awesome! They hired me too!” I said and he laughed. “Maybe this whole normal thing won’t be as hard as we thought.” The Doctor said and I smiled.

“Maybe, but let’s not get our hopes up just yet.” I said as we both went and sat down on the couch. “When do you start?” I asked “Tomorrow, you?” “Monday, they are having you start tomorrow?” I asked thinking that was odd. “Apparently they need someone right away.” He said and I nodded.

We sat on the couch for about twenty more minutes talking about our day. The Doctor told me about all of the flirting girls and I chuckled at the thought, then I told him about how the frumpy librarian thought I was lucky since my husband let me work. And he got a laugh out of that. Then we trudged off to bed, after all the Doctor had a big day tomorrow.

A/N Hahaha! So I know this is all very domesticated! And it will be that way for awhile! But at least you guys get a feel of Electra and the Doctor as normal people! That's always fun! Anyway hope you guys enjoy and I know I keep saying this but there will not be another chapter till at least Sunday, since I am leaving in an hour and When I get home it's off to bed so I get a good nights rest! Enjoy guys!
