A/N Hi Guys! So I know this is slow at the moment! But it will pick up and get complicated and dramatic like my usual fanfics in no time! But I just want to make sure I put enough of their prison time in here... plus I want to make this book good and long, I know my chapters haven't been my normal five to six pages but... anyway enjoy! The song to the side is a playlist of all of the Doc and Electra's songs! With a brand new one at the end! Please listen to it all! thanks!

Electra’s POV

Twenty years, three pen names, and thirty bestselling books later. Me and the Doctor found ourselves living on an estate in rural England. We still hadn’t given up hope of escaping, but we were in the seventies now… we were trying to avoid the culture as much as possible.

“The seventies, one of the worst decades in human history.” The Doctor groaned as we sat in the garden, he was tinkering with something again as I proofread my next book. “Yea well only five more years to go, and were out. Unless you can figure out a way to escape.” I said and he shot me a look.

“Well if you’re so eager to escape why don’t you find a way to.” He said and I stuck my tongue out at him. “Don’t be a pain in the arse.” I said and he smiled. “I love you.” He said and I scrunched my nose in thought. “I suppose I love you too.” I said and he stood up laughing.

“I’m going down to the lab if you need me.” He said and I nodded. I went back to my reading as the sun set behind the hills.

Twenty more years….

Electra’s POV

Another twenty years, three pen names and thirty-two best sellers later. Me and the Doctor were moving to America, New York City to be exact. “We’ll make friends in New York.” I said and the Doctor looked at me. “You know we won’t.” He said and I frowned.

“Don’t be a downer.” I said as we boarded the plane. It was the nineties now, not a bad time to live, but still not perfect. Me and the Doctor had tried to escape a few times but each attempt had failed more epicly than the last.

We hadn’t heard a word from our captor in the forty years we had been trapped here. That to me was a tad frustrating, as I took my seat on the plane I looked at the girl in the aisle next to me, she was probably about fourteen and she was reading one of my books, a personal favorite of mine.

I smiled as I leaned across the aisle and tapped her shoulder. “Chapter 25 is the best.” I said with a smile. “You like this book too?” She asked and I nodded. “Oh very much so, its one of my favorites, in fact I know the author.” I said and her eyes widened.

“Is she as awesome as her books?” She asked and the Doctor appeared and kneeled down next to us. “Even more awesome, right love.” He said as he kissed me on the cheek and the girl smiled.

“I’ll be sure to tell her I met her number one fan next time I see her.” I said and the girl smiled again. “I would appreciate that.” She said as me and the Doctor went back to our seats. “That was sweet of you.” He said and I looked at him. “Since when am I not sweet?” I asked and he rolled his eyes.

Twenty-five more years later….

“Can we move to Florida?” The Doctor asked from in the kitchen as I came out of the bedroom and joined him. “Why in the world do you want to move to Florida?” I asked as I grabbed some grapes out of the fridge.

“NASA offered me a job.” He said and I went over to hug him. “That’s awesome!” I said as I kissed him and he nodded. “Why are you looking at me like that?” He asked as I studied him intently, there was something off about him, and then I noticed it.

“Your hair is gray right there.” I said as I brushed the side of his hairline gently. “Really?” he asked as he ran into the bathroom and I followed him. “Doctor that shouldn’t happen right?” I asked as I sat down on the vanity.

He continued to examine himself in the mirror and shot me side glances as he did so. “Well Time Lords do age, and we haven’t regenerated in awhile, now that I look at you, your looking a little older as well.” He said as I turned and began to examine myself.

“This is not cool.” I said as I pulled at my face like my aunt used to. “Oh chill Electra, it will be fine.” He said as he turned away from the mirror and looked at me. “So Florida?” He asked as I pulled myself away from the mirror and looked at him. “Why not?” I said and he nodded.

Moving to Florida was harder than I thought it would be, the Doctor had to go down ahead of me and start at work because they needed him right away. I had just finished packing the last box for the movers who were showing up tomorrow, and then I went to my room to finish packing for my early morning flight. I finished quickly and put my suitcase by the door, I set my alarm and lied down in my empty bed.

It was weird sleeping without the Doctor next to me, I had been doing it for sixty-five years. I had definitely gotten used to it again. I smiled as I thought about how tomorrow we would be back together and it would all be fine.

My alarm blared signaling it was time for me to get up, I got dressed and grabbed my stuff as I made my way out of the apartment for the last time, none of the places had ever felt like home, but they still held fond memories that I would never forget.

I got into my cab and made my way to the airport. I was one of the last people to board the plane and I sat back and shut my eyes as the plane made its way into the air. It was only a two hour trip to Florida, and I would have a nice shiny new beach house to go to when I got there.

A/N Ahhhhhh 65 years! Long time my people! Anyway I know this one was really slow... I'm sorry about that! But I was trying to paraphrase! Hope you liked it anyway though!
