A/N Sorry guys this one is short too. But I am really struggling I have no ideas about how to lengthen this story, there will be another book, but I dont want to combine to books for a reason I cannot tell you at this time. But here is a chapter at least its something!

Electra’s POV

We worked all day in the lab in peace, we calculated equations and discussed theories. The Doctor was not happy about me taking the risk of going back, but like I told him, I was the only one who had a chance at succeeding.

At dinnertime we went down to the dining hall and sat down at Rick, Clara, and Jack’s table. The uncomfortable silence then ensued. It was easy to see that there were still some hard feelings about this whole thing, and nothing me or the Doctor said or did changed that.

Clara, Rick, and Jack were discussing something about another patrol of Cybermen that had come through earlier today. Me and the Doctor pretended not to listen but kept our ears wide open the entire conversation.

“What about this Gildrek character? Any way you can prove he’s the one leading these armies?” Jack suddenly asked and me and the Doctor looked around uncomfortably as all six eyes were trained on us.

“We could let him know were back.” I said and the Doctor about choked on his soup. “Why? That’s just going to bring his wrath down on everyone!” “Oh don’t be a pussy love, it’s the only way that coward is going to show himself.” I said as everyone continued to stare at me.

“And if we went with this plan… how do you propose we deal with Gildrek when he reveals himself?” Rick asked. “The only way to deal with Gildrek, you fight him, there is no way to trick him, but he can never turn down a good challenge.”

“Electra is right, Gildrek is our worst enemy not only because he knows how Time Lords think, but he knows how me and Electra think. The only way we can fight him is head on, Electra beat him last time, she can do it again right love?”

“Yea, sure can.” I said trying to sound positive, when in fact I wasn’t entirely sure, Gildrek had managed to lock us up in that prison, and my fighting skills are a little more than rusty. “Well then we better get to work on a plan.” Jack said and everyone nodded as they went back to their food.

“WHAT IN THE HELL WERE YOU THINKING! I CANT FIGHT GILDREK!” I yelled as me and the Doctor stood in our room fighting about the events that had transpired at dinner. “Yes you can Electra! You have to!”

“No I don’t! We’re going to travel back and fix this!”

“But what about here?”

“Here won’t matter! Here won’t exist!”

“Fine! Be that way!” The Doctor yelled as he stormed out of the room. I stood there with my arms folded for a few minutes and then left the room as well. I stormed down to the lab and planted myself right in front of the half-finished equation on the white board.

All of our work was done in Gallifreyan so if anyone found our spot they wouldn’t know what we were working on, of course they would know who was working on it, but not what it was. I was so close to figuring out the one missing thing we needed for this to work, and the sooner I found it, the better.

I heard the door open and I recognized the footsteps immediately. “What do you want?” I asked as I heard the Doctor come to a stop. “I’m sorry.” He said and I turned around to face him.

“You were right Electra, we should be focusing more on fixing this, then fighting it.” “Thank you.” “Am I forgiven?” His adorable puppy dog eyes pleaded innocently with me and I couldn’t resist that. “Always.”

The Doctor’s eyes suddenly doubled in size as he slapped himself on the forehead and ran over to the board. “How could I be so dense? It’s so simple!” He yelled as he then began muttering to himself as I watched eagerly.

“Do you have it?” I asked after a few minutes of nothing but his muttering. “Yes, yes! I think so!” he said as he finished with a flourish and set the marker down. “Tada!” I looked at the board for a minute and then smiled. “I think you have it.”

A/N Once again I am sorry its so short guys. But if you have any ideas as to what you think should happen in this story let me know I may use it if I like it! I hoped you at least enjoyed my horribly short chapter!
