Jumping back into my car, while throwing my bag into the passenger seat with my keys wrapped around my finger. I start the car, pulling out of the parking lot while the sound of the engine fills the air.

While driving back to Glass road, I do a re-run of what I have learned from Gabby. And this is what I have

-The guy's name is Pete.
-According to Gabby there are 3 other people in the house, one to be a males and the other two are females.
-Yelling and screaming. Profanities being thrown around.
-Pete began to act weird after the New Year, buying buying equipment and only leaving once a month.
-Started to avoid contact with people, slowly stopped tending to his yard.

I keep re-running these things through my head as my GPS guides me back. I turn the radio on and let the man tell me the forecast.

"We are expecting serve thunderstorms along with strong winds tomorrow. I recommend to staying inside and avoid all cost of leaving your home." The man tells me, I drown him out as tells us about his dog that he adopted a few days ago. My boss, Lizzie, never lets you take a day off because of a storm. She even said to me that she is willing to risk our lives for a good report. So my chances of getting tomorrow off is very slim.

I change the station while keeping my eyes glued to the road. I hear the very familiar bells ring through the speakers. I start to spazz as Hells Bells plays, ACDC has always been a favorite of mine ever since I was young. This putting me in a good mood I put the thought of the case in the back of my mind. Mindlessly following what the GPS says while I jam out to the music.

I pull up to the right side of the road, just like I had before. I shut the car off and grab my bag and hop out of my car. I look over to Gabby's house and see no cars in her driveway, she is probably at work and her husband as well.

While walking by Petes house I can't help but stare at it. Soaking in the small details. On how there is a faint passage from the side door to the driveway. Leaves cover the front yard and the tall grass give ticks a nice home. I look at how the house is built, the house has 2 levels and I'm guessing it has a basement too. The paint is chipping off and the shutters are starting to break. I look at the house I'm headed over too, and notice an older gentleman pulling weeds out of his garden the lines the base of the house. I walk along the stone path and call out.

"Hello. Hi my name is Deanna, I work for the press and we have received a call from a neighbor telling us that there is a disturbance."

"Oh yeah." He grumbles "what do you need to know about it?" He asks rather rudely.

I actually am becoming kinda scared, Gabby said that he was nice and not stubborn. Maybe to her but not to new people I guess.

I open my mouth to speak but I can't produce words.

"All that you need to know is that there is yelling and screaming. It's been going for a few months and no one has done anything except for now. Don't stir something up. Just let it be and mind you own business." He takes his gloves off and throws them to the ground. "And I wasn't the one that called, go asked someone else. Don't disturb us." He stands up, opens his door and walks through and slams the door behind him.

I am left baffled, I didn't even get to ask a question and he got defensive. I'll talk to Gabby and see if she can ask him some questions and hopefully get some answers. I'm actually pretty pissed that he blew me off like that. I didn't drive down here for some old guy to slam a door in my face.

I walk up to Alex's door and knock on it. He opens the door and a sour expression is plastered onto his face.

"Look I just want to ask you a few questions, now ma-" I get cut off

"I don't wanna be asked questions and if I am I wont answer them. Easy as that. Now goodbye." He slams his door again and sigh in defeat. I walk back to my car and jump into the driver side.

I sit in my seat for a few minutes, jotting down what Alex said even though it is nothing. But the one thing that I didn't understand was when he said "don't stir something up." And "don't disturb us." But I think he was giving me a warning but I have to make a report on this and I only have about a week to finish the report. Every reporter is to follow this deadline.

As I'm jotting down some things, I hear a car door slam. I jump at the sound and look up, I notice a man with short black hair get into his car and start to car. But it's the man that is getting called on. I stop what I'm doing and observe every little thing that he does. He backs out of the driveway and drives past me. He looks at me and we made eye contact. I tense up. I haven't met the guy yet and I already feel tension between us. I look away as he slowly drives by. I stare at my pen that is lying down on my notepad, I stare at it for about a good 5 minutes until I become able to move.

While sitting in the car, I don't wanna waste today so I'm thinking of things that might help this case. It wouldn't hurt to look on the outside of the house.

Would it?
