I am currently going through a debate with my thoughts. I'm thinking of the pros and con if I get out and look around. If I get out I could possibly get some new information for the report. Could possibly. If I don't, I could miss something that could be vital.
Sitting here for about 10 minutes going back and fourth. There's no one around except for Alex but I'm sure that man is taking nap. I grab my camera from my bag, I give the area a final look around before opening the door.
I step out and close the door behind me, I take a photo of the front of the house and make my way down the front path. I bear left off the path and make my way around the house. Before going to the back I notice something in the trash that is along the side of the house, a notice a cloth that has a red liquid splattered. I take a picture of it but my curiosity gets the best of me.
I pick it up with two fingers and pull it out slowly. As I'm pulling it out, I observe that towards the other end it is complete drenched in this liquid. I take a wif of the smells and it smells like blood, I drop the cloth and let it drape over the side. I take a picture of it and move on the back of the house.
I look around and go up to the porch, I see a slider door with the curtains parted a bit. I look through and squint my eyes. The first room is see is the dining room. A small clean wood round table with four wood chairs. A very simple and plain.
I move my eyes up and see a living room space, a black leather love-seat and a medium size flat screen are what I see.
I back away as those sections are all I can see, I look in the backyard and I take a photo just in case I miss something while I'm here. I go into the yard and take a photo of the back of the house.
I look towards Alex's house and see him looking at me through the window. He shakes his head like he is disapproving what I'm doing. I dart my eyes away from him and down to my camera in my hands. I look back at his house and notice that he is gone. I walk back to my car and sit in it for a while.
As I'm sitting there, I jot down a good description of what the cloth looked like. Trying to use unique words and deep descriptive words. I getting sick of sitting in my car, I put my notepad in my bag and start the car up. I do a seven-point turn and head back up the road.
As I'm driving up the road I notice an familiar car parked on the left side of the road. It looks like the man that has the house, but there is no one in the car. It's vacant.
I ignore it and kept of driving. I turned the radio and let the music charge it's way out of the speaker. I Miss You by Blink-182 comes on. This is beautifully created, it has a haunting description of depression that can be in a relationship and the fallout that occur.
As I'm driving up the road, I hear some noises coming from the car. I look down and notice my gas light on and the little arm is on E. I mentally curse to myself and pull over, I turn my car off and slam my hands onto the steering wheels. I let out a sigh in frustration, I reach for my phone but as I'm doing so I hear some tapping at my side window. I jump and snap my neck in the direction of the sound. I see a man. The same man that lives in that house.
I stare at the man with wide eyes, I hesitantly open my door. "Uh, hello."
"Hi there ma'am. What seems to be the trouble?" He asks as he looks past me and stares at the passenger seat.
"Oh yeah, my car ran out of gas. I'm fine though. I'm gonna call my friend to pick me up."
"Do you want to come back to my place, so you can wait for your friend?" He offers
Hell no. No way in hell am I going back to his place. It will only take about an hour or so. I will not go to his house.
"No but thank you. I can just wait here, it would take long." I decline
"But I hear it suppose to start to rain pretty soon, plus there are strong winds and lighting. It would be safer if you came with me." He holds out his hand "Just come with me, it's safer."
I think about this for a quick second, and thinking of the pros. I can look around his house and see if I can see anything out of place.
"Uh- sure, thank you. I didn't hear anything about the weather so I'm outta of the loop at the moment." I lie and give a chuckle.
"You can watch the news when we get to my house, then you'll be ahead of the game." I grab his hand and step out, I reach into my car and grab my bag. I check the bag to make sure I have everything. I nod and we start walking back to his place.
I've only been talking to this guy for about 2 minutes and I can feel the tension radiating between us. I'm super nervous and frightened, I'm not sure how to act. Well of course I can't make it obvious, they would be a huge dead giveaway.
I look up to the sky and notice that clouds are starting to cover the sky, dark clouds too. I reach for my phone so I can call Jessy. As I look at my phone, I get an alert that says "service not found." I curse under my breath and chuck my phone into my bag.
"No service? Well, I'm sure there is some gas at my house. We can transport it to your car." He offers me in a friendly way but I didn't see it as that.
"That would be great." I try to not show my nervousness and continue down the road.
