Abhis P.O.V:

Maahi? How could this be? She looked exactly like Maahi!!!
I went closer to double check but it wouldn't change! All I saw there was Maahi lying there unconscious.
Tears rolled down my eyes as I touched her face, after 2 years I was touching Maahi again.

"Maahi?" I whispered.

This couldn't be I was just imagining this!! I stood up and backed away...
I ran to my door and closed it and thought back to all the moments me and Maahi were together especially this one.

-Flashback-

"Maahi?" I asked.

"Hmm..."

"What if I die-"

Maahi put her hand on my mouth making me stop talking.

"No...Abhi you won't ever die...Abhi promise me you won't ever leave me!!" Maahi said hugging me tightly.

I chucked and held her tightly, "Maahi it was just a scenario you are not getting rid of me this quickly!!" I joked.

"Abhi I'm getting a really bad feeling in my gut and I just don't want to let go..." Maahi explained.

"I'm not leaving you! But promise me you won't leave me either!" I said.

"Never..."

-Flashback ends-

Why Maahi? Why did you break your promise?
Why did you leave me? Why did you save me? You should have let me die being without you is like dying every single day.
I locked the door and opened my suitcase to get a picture of Maahi.

"I love you....kyun chali gayi?? Kyun? (Why did you leave? Why?)" I said out loud to Maahis picture.

"Maahi....I am dying...." I said while tears rolled down my eyes one by one.

"Please...please come back!! I miss you so much!! At this point I'm a dead man walking!! Please Maahi!!" I cried.

I held the picture close to my chest and embraced it I should've said I love you to Maahi sooner!! Why did it have to end like this?!?!!!??

Mahiras P.O.V:

I opened my eyes slowly still with the headache.
I yawned I don't remember a thing of what happened.
I sat up straight on my bed rubbing my eyes and started thinking. It sucks not remembering your past the doctor said I would get my memory back in a few weeks but it's been an year and now this happens!!!
I don't know what happened but whatever it was wasn't good. Whose this Maahi? All I remember is the name that echoed in my mind and that I broke mine and Rahul's picture in the hall.
I looked at my engagement ring that Rahul put on, when he proposed to me I had no choice but to say yes. After all he did save my life and took care of me he, Aunty, and these orphans are the only family of mine.
I shook my head to shake out these weird feelings I mean people do say never look back at your past!!
I don't even have a choice.
I sighed at my black and white visions that had attacked me. I wonder what they meant they just came in a snap not even giving me a warning.

Abhis P.O.V:

I sat there in my tears with Maahis picture in my hand.
Trying to forget her was just not possible and especially marrying someone else was harder.
Neeti was a nice girl but I'm going to ruin her life by marrying her.
I wiped my tears away and went out my bedroom, I wanted to see the girl who was in the bedroom just to double check.
She was still there sitting on her bed thinking about something.
Was this Maahi or am I dreaming?
