Chapter 55

Tanya's P.O.V:

"Why are you on my phone??" I questioned.

"I'm not you are getting a call" Karthik answered in displeasure.

"Oh..." I took my phone and saw it was Arjun calling I wanted to pick it up but I was too late it went to voicemail.

"Who is Arjun??"

"A friend back in L.A." I answered.

"Let's go we are going to be late for Maahis dinner." Karthik said. I nodded and brought my black dress.

Maahis P.O.V:

Ever sense I was little I used to love planning parties. It was my favorite thing and I like being perfect. I heard a knock on my door and ran to it, "Aarav!!!! You're my first guest!!!"

"Where is Abhi??"

"He is stuck in a board meeting he said he will try to make it..." I said getting Aaravs coat.
Another knock came and it was Tanya and Karthik. I hugged both of them and took their coats too.

"Where is the new girl??" Karthik asked grabbing cheese and crackers.

"She hasn't arrived! Why are you eating like a pig??" I barked.

"Because I'm hungry!!" Karthik said.

Another knock went against the door and I excitedly answered it. "Sneha!! You made it!!" I hugged her like we had been friends for a long time.

"Yea!! I'm sorry if I'm late, traffic..." She said handing her coat to me.

"No your right on time!! This is Aarav!!" I said introducing them.

"Hey!" Aarav said shaking hands with Sneha. Aarav put his wine glass down God knows where he got that from!

"Shall we eat??" Karthik asked shoving more cheese and crackers into his mouth. Sneha chuckled and we began eating our dinner.

"So Sneha what do you do?" Aarav asked.

"I am a CEO of my dads company..."

"That's very nice! What's your company about?" Aarav questioned.

"Software. After my dad passed away I decided to take over his company." Sneha answered.

"I'm sorry to hear about your father..."

"Oh no it's okay!! What about you??"

"I'm an engineer..." Aarav answered Sneha.

"Wow that's cool! Maahi I just have to mention how delicious this dinner is!!" Sneha said.

"Thank you!!"

After we ate we filled out wine glasses and I sent Aarav and Sneha to the terrace so they would get to know each other.

"I'm so sad Abhi couldn't make it!! He would've loved Sneha I mean I do!!!" Tanya said.

"It's going to be fun if she became the third girl in our gang!" I said.

Karthik yawned showing he was bored of our subject, "Karthik how's life?" I asked.

"Good. Not boring." He said.

I heard a knock on the door and answered it, "Abhi!!!"

I hugged him and shortly kissed him.

"I'm so sorry I'm late!! The meeting took forever!! Karthik you should've came..." Abhi said.

"Sorry I'm not boring..."

"Where is Aarav and his date??" Abhi asked.

"Out on the terrace." I answered pointing.

Abhi glanced and his expressions changed suddenly. Aarav and Sneha came out the terrace and Sneha wasn't too happy to see Abhi.

"Sneha?!?" Abhi said I'm guessing he was happy to see her.
