Chapter 40

Also it was a long time so I wanted to say that Harsh is a little boy at the orphanage who is an orphan (of course). He was very attached to Tanya when he first met her and is pretty close to Mahira.

Abhis P.O.V:

"Mujhe sach chaihi hai...(I want the truth)" Harsh said.

"Kya? (What?)" Karthik asked.

"Jabse aap log ayne hai Mahira didi apni tera act nahi kar rahi hain...(Ever Sense you guys have came Mahira sis hasn't acted like herself...)" Harsh complained.

"Umm....actually..." I started to say.

"Come on Harsh I'll tell you..." Karthik said taking him to the other room.

After a while Mahira stormed in with Rahul behind her.
She pulled me outside the orphanage and Rahul stayed inside.

"Abhi you can't build this hotel..." Mahira claimed.

"What?? This hotel is the whole reason I came here!!" I said.

"Because Abhi!! Then this orphanage will close down....you can't let that happen!!!" Mahira explained.

"Why?!!?! Why would I care for this orphanage!!!! And who are you to tell me what to do!?!!!?" I screamed.

"Abhi please..." Mahira pleaded.

I was in a state of anger right now that while going back inside I shoved Mahira on the way, there is no way she is my Maahi.
I stormed into mine and Karthiks room
as Karthik was finishing his conversation with Harsh, Karthik told Harsh not to tell anyone.
Harsh left giving me a sympathy look, God I was getting a sympathy from a 8 year old!!

"I told him everything..." Karthik said.

"Well also tell him that Mahira is not Maahi!!" I said.

"What?" Karthik asked.

"Can you believe that Mahira asked me to not build the hotel!!! I mean Maahi would never do that!!" I said.

"Yea but she would try to save the orphanage..." Karthik said.

"Karthik she is not Maahi!! It's not possible!! Maahi is dead! I saw her drying with my own eyes and trust me I am not blind!!! I'm going to marry Neeti and move on with my life..." I claimed.

"You are mad because Mahira is marrying Rahul and you can't accept that!" Karthik said.

"My Maahi would never marry someone else..." I said.

Mahiras P.O.V:

I was on my bed and Rahul was sitting down.

"Mahira are you okay?" He asked.

"You've asked me that questions like a thousand times!! I'm fine!!" I said.

"Mahira you aren't okay....you know you have a past-"

"Rahul stop it!! I've decided that I will
marry you and that's it!! Just stop it!!" I said cutting him off.

Neetis P.O.V:

"Asha what are we going to do? If Maahi gets her memory back then we will be done!!!" I said.

"You are right Karthik and Abhi are trying their best....there is only one thing we can do..." Asha claimed.

"What?"

"If Maahi does get her memory back then all we need to do is emotional blackmail her!! Maahi melts if someone asks her for something....we have to take advantage of her niceness..." Asha said.

"Who will emotional blackmail her?" I asked.
