Chapter 66

Third Person P.O.V:

It wasn't long until Abhi found out about Aarav and Maahis engagement, he denied it but it hurt.
Abhi rethought about the actions he took while kissing Sneha, and now he was dating her.
He couldn't help but think of Maahi only, the time when she saved him from the fight. The time when she saved him on the cliff, and in return he gave her pain. He despised himself and just locked himself in his room not talking to anyone, not even his new girlfriend.

"Abhi...please open the door..." Sneha pleaded.

"Sneha I'm fine, just leave me alone." Abhi demanded.

That's about the conversation they had and Sneha left in silence. She realized something a couple days later, why couldn't she get Abhi out of the room? He is her boyfriend so wouldn't he listen to her?

On the other hand Tanyas and Arjun's wedding day was getting only closer, and Tanya counted down as it if were her death day.

"Tanya? Can I ask you something?" Maahi asked trying to pick a dress.

"Yea." Tanya said.

"Why are you marrying Arjun? You love Karthik, so why are you doing this?"

"Aren't you doing the same thing?" Tanya said.

"Karthik didn't do anything wrong but Abhi betrayed me, why are you hurting Karthik?" Maahi questioned.

A tear dropped from Tanyas eye because she knew the answer very well,"There are a lot of reasons..." Tanya stammered.

"What reasons?" Maahi asked turning all her attention towards Tanya.

"I promised Arjun. He is a really good friend and I can't hurt him." Tanya answered with grief.

"What other reason?"

"I'm pregnant..." Tanya confessed with a knot in her gut.

"What?!?" Maahi yelled.

"Maahi stop yelling!!"

"Wait with Arjun? Is that why you are getting married? Tanya that's just wrong you shouldn't just marry because there is a baby on the way!! Wait, actually you should because a child must have both of their parents!! Have you went to a gynecologist? Pediatrician?" Maahi ranted.

"Oh my god Maahi!! Let me finish!! It's not Arjun's baby." Tanya said in vain.

"Oh my god!! I knew it!! You got knocked up!! By a stranger!! Ugh!! God why?!?" Maahi said praying.

"No!! I'm not an idiot!! It's Karthiks baby..." Tanya said shutting Maahi, only for a second.

"What?!? How?!? Have you told him?!??!? Wait than why are you marrying Arjun!! Shame on you Tanya!!" Maahi blabbered.

"I haven't told Karthik, I can't believe I'm roping Arjun into this mess. He doesn't deserve this, I mean he shouldn't have to take care of someone else's baby." Tanya realized.

"Well, good you realized on you own so I don't have to give you a lecture. You have to tell Arjun tonight." Maahi said being serious.

"You are right but if I'm telling Arjun you are telling Aarav."

"Telling Aarav what?" Maahi asked.

"That you love Abhi, he too deserves much better." Tanya stated walking away leaving Maahi with agony.

Tanyas P.O.V:

I reached Arjun's apartment before the thunderstorm hit.

"Tanya? What are you doing here? You couldn't wait until tomorrow for the wedding?" Arjun joked.

"Arjun I have to say something..." Tanya said.

Tanya confessed the pregnancy to Arjun and told him that Karthik was the father.

"Main kushi kushi se yeh bacha accept karloin gain, per asli sawal toh yeh hai ke kya tum Karthik se pyaar karti ho? (I will be happy to accept this child, but the real question is if you still love Karthik?" Arjun asked.

Tanya took a deep breath and without thinking she said, "yes"

Arjun nodded and gave Tanya a smile, "Karthik is a good guy and I know for sure he will keep you happy."

Arjun kissed Tanyas forehead and she hugged him tightly, she was so lucky to have a friend like him.

Maahis P.O.V:

I was impatient about telling Aarav the truth but I was stuck in traffic because of the storm and an accident up ahead.

Soon the police officers on patrol were motioning the cars to turn right around because we won't be able to move forward.

"Dam it!!!" I said in frustration to myself.

I turned my car around and looked at phone, no signal. All the phone towers were destroyed by the storm and wouldn't work until late afternoon tomorrow. There was no way to reach to Aarav until tomorrow.

Sneahs P.O.V:

It was the day after the storm and everything seemed to be destroyed but I know I could save one thing from being destroyed, Abhi and Maahis love.

I went into Abhis apartment and sat against the locked door in which Abhi was in.

"You still love her don't you?" I asked.

"I never stopped." Abhi slowly answered.

"Abhi don't feel guilty for me, I was never meant for you, but please don't let Maahi go out of your life. Not again, it was a miracle that you found her after two years but miracles don't always happen." I explained.

"But she is marrying Aarav." Abhi whined.

"I think Aarav knows that Maahi still loves you, when I clashed into her I saw pain, but love for you."

The doors knob turned and I moved out of the way and faced Abhi.

"Really? You saw love for me in her eyes?"

"Yes!!" I said hugging Abhi, "go get your girl!!" I yelled.

Abhi ran towards the door but stopped, "I should change I haven't showered in 3 days."

"So, that's the smell!!" Sneha joked.

Karthiks P.O.V:

At first I was working on a company presentation but than I was talking to Tanyas picture.

"I love you so much but you are getting married to an idiot!!" I complained.

I put the picture down on my desk and an idea popped in my head. I couldn't let Tanya marry down idiot!! She deserves me! I mean I'm so amazing and definitely better than Arjun!! I have to stop the wedding.
