Chapter 12

Tanyas P.O.V:

"I'm sorry Karthik" I said letting go of his hand, Aarav was right I should give Vikas a chance and Karthik has already hurt me too much I can't love him anymore. I walked to Vikas and smiled,

"Let's go...." I said. We walked off and I didn't bother looking around, I didn't want to look at Karthik once again. Why did he have to kiss me??

"Are you okay Tanya?" Vikas asked.

"Ummm yea but can we skip the movie? I have a headache...maybe tomorrow?"

"Of course Tanya, I hope you feel better. Let me drop you off to your house...." Vikas said kissing my forehead. A few minutes later he dropped me off at my apartment.

"Thanks for the ride" I said to Vikas.

"Of course your my girlfriend it's my duty to help you...." Vikas said. I faked smiled and went in my apartment I dropped my backpack on the couch and sat down. I can't believe Karthik kissed me he has a freaking girlfriend!!!!! Ugh this day can't get any worse.....

Maahis P.O.V:

I was driving to Abhis house to study with him I jamming out in my car listening to the new song "Fifi"
When I reached Abhis house I saw him watering his plants outside the house,

"Abhi what are you doing?!?! You should be resting!!!"

"Maahi I was getting bored I can't just sit back and relax anymore." Abhi said.
He looked so sad I couldn't say no,

"It's fine...just don't exhaust yourself..." I suggested.

"You are really bossy!!" Abhi said spraying me with the water.

"Abhi what are you doing??!?!!!!" I said shielding my face with my hands.
Abhi didn't stop he kept spraying me with water. I couldn't see anything but I wanted him to stop so I went near him,

"Abhi stop someone will get hurt!!" I said.
I slipped on some mud that was left because of the water and fell on Abhi. The hose slipped out of Abhis hand and started spraying everywhere even Abhi got wet. My hair was all wet and I was still on top of Abhi, he moved my hair from my eyes. I stared into his brown eyes I was so close to him but I didn't feel uncomfortable at all I felt like this is right. Of course I just had to
sneeze and ruin the whole moment, but Abhi helped me get up, "Come on let's go inside...", he said. Abhi gave me a towel to dry off, I didn't have any clothes so I decided to wear Abhis shirt it was big enough for me.

"Here is tea, this will make you feel better." Abhi told me. I took the tea and he looked at me shocked,"umm.."

"Sorry Abhi woh mere paas koi aur kapte nahi hai (Sorry Abhi I don't have any other clothes) I hope you don't mind." I said.

"Of course not!! What are friends for??" Abhi joked. Ugh the word 'friend' coming from Abhis mouth irked me so much what if Aarav was right? What if I loved Abhi? Aarav can't be right, he loves a sandwich for gods sake!!!

"What are you thinking about?" Abhi asked.

"Nothing, let's just study.." I answered. We opened the notes I took in class but I was distracted by Aaravs words

"You love him" echoed in my mind whenever I looked at Abhi. I have never been in love before and I was always afraid I would get hurt.

Abhis P.O.V:

Maahi looked disoriented the whole study session but I guessed it wasn't a  big deal. An hour later we were done I had put Maahis clothes into the drier to dry off so I gave them to her.

"Thanks Abhi I am going to get going now before it gets too late," I said.
After, Maahi left I decided to cook some eggs I was getting really hungry. I got a call from my fight instructor,

"Hey sir how are you doing?" I asked.

"I'm doing fine but I don't think you are doing fine at all....whose that girl that's been around so much?" He asked. I was shocked how did he know about Maahi?

"Maahi Patel, right?? I hope you aren't getting too close....." He asked more like threatened.

"Of course not..." I said.

"Look Abhi I don't have a problem with you loving someone but just wonder she got worried because of a motorcycle accident!! You end up in the emergency room 4 times a week!! How will she work with that?? If you let her get too close then she will suffer because of your street fights....just think about it and remember street fighters don't know the word 'love'" My instructor explained, he hung up just after that. Was he asking me to choose between love and street fighting?

Tanya's P.O.V:

Maahi came exhausted and worried,

"What happened?" I asked.

"I hate Aarav...." She said throwing her bag onto the table.

"Me too!! Who is he to tell me I should give people a chance? He is making my life hard!!" I complained.

"I know right!! I mean he thinks he knows who I love!! Dumb-ass!!" Maahi yelled. I giggled this is the first time I've heard Maahi curse, "take a seat and eat chocolate..Maahi trust me you love him." I said being truthful, "Maahi think about it, when you are close don't you feel a sensation in your veins? Doesn't your heart pump like crazy??"

"I hate you too" Maahi said going into her room and slamming the door shut,

"You hate me because you know I'm right!!" I screamed. I smirked I love annoying my friends, meanwhile I got a text from Vikas "hope you are feeling better..."
"Yeah much better see you tomorrow!" I texted back. It was time I moved on and plus Vikas was sweet.
