"So what'd you and my mom talk about anyways?" Luke asked as he drove.

After Liz told me about Luke and this shirt we just sat there. Until Luke came back down, then we just decided to leave though Liz insisted we stayed. I made up an excuse saying I wasn't feeling good, she was reluctant but let us leave. I think Luke is probably going to go home so when we do get back to the hotel I'll probably just go to sleep.

"Who said we talked?" I smiled, playing with him.

"You're my girlfriend, I'd be more worried if she didn't say anything to you." He still had his eyes on the road which is another thing I like about him. I hate when people are driving and putting fucking make up on or some shit, like you're gonna look ten times uglier if you crash.

" Why didn't you tell me Joel gave this to you?" I questioned calmly.

"It didn't come up, plus that was a while ago, plus you can wear anything of mine that you want." He took a half second glance at me then put his hand on my leg while smiling. Somewhere in our quiet yet unquiet talk I had begun to rest me feet on his lap. Im pretty sure part of the reason he was smiling was because my face looks like a fucking tomato.

"Awe Nina, are you fucking getting soft?" He smiles bigger.

"I think we fucking switched personalities." I smile, looking at him. He rubbed his thumb on my jeans but it felt so nice, so nice that I'm going to fucking sleep cause I'm tired.

I couldn't sleep though, the car ride was to bumpy so instead I just closed me eyes. Luke's phone starts ringing but I let it ago until he answers.

"Hey" he says.

"Luke!!" I flinch hearing Ashton's voice throughout the car. Luke's must have put it on Bluetooth.

"Shut up Nina's trying to sleep." Luke says and I feel his thumb rubbing circles on my thigh.

"Sorry, have you asked her yet?" I try not making any sudden movements but focus on the conversation.

"No, I feel like she'll say no, she's not the usual girl you know? I think I'll give it a little more time so I know she really has feelings for me." He says and I frown, if I didn't have feelings for him why the fuck would I be dating him?

"Dude relax, she's got feelings" I really just want to 'wake up' now.

"I don't know, I mean I don't know what she's gone through and she needs her space so I haven't asked but, I really fucking love her ash." I nuzzle my face into my shoulder so he can't see my cheeks redden. This is illegal.

"Yeah yeah we all do." I can't take this anymore.

"Luke?" I yawn and stretch pretending to just wake up.

"Got to go ash.. Hey how was your ten minute nap?" His attention is now on me, his bottom lip inbetween his teeth.

"Good, what were you and Ashton talking about?" I ask wondering if he will tell me the truth.

"Oh that? He was just wondering if I was going to go to his house tonight but I told him I was staying with you." He wasn't looking at me.

"You can go" I sit up and put my hand on the back of his neck.

"You sure?" He puts his left hand on mine.

"Yeah, go spend time with the boys, get drunk, have a fun night." I'm still looking at him. Only now is it that I realise he hasn't shaved, taking my hand from his neck I move my fingers across his jaw. The small hairs prickling my skin.
