HALLOWEEN

Imagine...

It is halloween night and you and Niall have a four year old son. He is super excited to be going trick or treating again, he has been looking forward to it since the last halloween. He went out with Niall to pick out a costume weeks ago wanting to be his favorite super hero, superman. They had gone the the store that Y/S/N wanted to go to and spent hours looking for the best superman costume. After a while they found the perfect one.

Y/S/N loved it so much that he wanted to wear it all the time, but that changed...

"Y/S/N, are you done getting changed yet?" Niall asks through your son's bedroom door.

"No, I need mommy to help me," he says.

"Why can't daddy help you?"

"Because it's a surprise," he replies. You walk into your son's room laughing a little as you see him trying to put on his little outfit.

"Ready to show daddy the surprise?" You ask your son after you got him all ready.

"Yeah!" He screams excitedly.

"Okay, I'm going out to get him," you say before walking out of the room. You stand next to your husband of six years and smile up at him.

"Okay Y/S/N, come on out," Niall says.

He walks out of his door, his head barely above the door handle, and smiles at his dad. You look over at Niall, confusion is clear on his face.

"I thought you were gonna dress up as a superhero buddy?" Niall asks.

"I am dressed as a super hero daddy," he replies.

"I'm confused, who is it?" Niall asks looking at your little son.

"I'm you, daddy," he said and realization hit Niall's face.

Your son decided that he wanted to dress up as his father, his role model, for halloween. Superman wasn't his favorite super hero, his dad was. Y/S/N asked you to help him so you got him the exact same outfit that Niall wore to his X Factor audition. You even made the same little paper with Niall's X Factor number on it and pinned it to his shirt.

"You look even better than I did when I auditioned!" Niall says with a huge smile on his face. He walked over to your son and gave him a huge hug. "I love you Y/S/N!"

"I love you too daddy. What about mommy?" Your son asks.

Niall looks over at you and smiles, that's when you see the tears in his eyes. Seeing those two together makes you tear up and you are on the verge of crying.

"Then let's get mommy in this hug too," Niall says.

He lifts up Y/S/N and walks over to you, smiles on both of their faces. Niall wraps one arm around your waist, the other still holding your son. Y/S/N wraps one arm around your neck and the other around Niall's. At that point is when you start crying.

"Why are you crying mommy?" Your son asks.

"I just love you boys so much!" You reply.

Little does he know, the day Niall auditioned for the X Factor was the day you fell in love with him. You fell in love with him in the same outfit your son is wearing, with the same number on his chest as Niall did. With the same look of happiness on his face. The same blue eyes you fell in love with. This whole moment reminded you of him.

Niall carefully set your son back on the ground after releasing the hug.

"Hey buddy, how about you go get your halloween bucket so we can go get some candy?" Niall says to him.

"Okay daddy!" He replies, running off to look for his bucket.

Niall walks up from behind you, wraps his arms around your waist, and places his head on your shoulder.

"What are you thinking about princess?" He asks.

"The day I fell in love with you," you say honestly.

"When was that?" He asks curiously.

"The day I saw you on that stage, in that outfit, auditioning for the X Factor," you reply.

"I love you," he says smiling before pecking your lips.

"I love you more," you say after the kiss.

"Impossible," he replies before kissing you once again.

"Ewww! Mommy and daddy are kissing!" Your son says from the end of the hallway, interrupting the moment but you didn't mind.

"We are married, so we can kiss!" Niall says, sticking his tongue out at Y/S/N.

"Get a room!" The 4 year old replies, shocking you and Niall.

"Where did you hear that Y/S/N?" You ask.

"Uncle Louis said it to Uncle Liam and Aunt Sophia when they kissed..." He says innocently. You and Niall exchange looks trying to hold back your laughter.

"I think I'll have to talk to Uncle Louis about that," you say.

"Come on! Let's go get candy!!" Niall says changing the topic before pulling you and your son towards the door.

Hey guys, it's me! I hope you like this imagine, I thought of it while watching an episode of Criminal Minds in season 6, not gonna lie. The one where Hotch's son, Jack, dresses up like his dad for halloween. I thought it was adorable so I made a Niall Imagine out of it! :) 

Anyway, I love this one!
