"Karylle?"

"Hey."

"Totoo na ba to???"

"Yes Yael, it's me." sabi ni Karylle at umupo sa sofa.

"Oh my gosh, honey, you're back!" sabi ni Yael na excited na lumakit kay Karylle at niyakap ito ng mahigpit.

"Saan ka galing? Ang aga pa ah, kauuwi mo lang?"

Yael checked his watch at tumango, "Yes honey, I came from a gig... You know how it is, late na natapos tapos nagkayayaan pa mag inuman."

"Aha." sabi ni Karylle unconvincingly.

"K! You have no idea how much I've missed you!" sabi ulit ni Yael kay Karylle at niyakap ulit ito and then hinalikan si Karylle sa lips passionately.

"Namiss din kita." sabi ni Karylle at nag pull away from the kiss.

Yael moved back at tiningnan yung expression sa mukha ng asawa nya. He frowned ng mapansin nyang parang may gumugulo sa isip nito.

"What's up, honey? You feeling okay?" tanong ni Yael while stroking Karylle's hand na hawak nya na ngayon.

"I need to ask you something." sabi ni Karylle after a long pause. You can see sa face niya yung kaba at takot sa mga posibleng mangyari.

"May problema ba?" tanong ni Yael na kinabahan bigla.

"I'm only going to ask you this once..."

"Karylle, I'm getting really scared... What's wrong?"

"I need you to answer me honestly... I need you to, Yael. Okay?"

"Of course, K... I love you, of course hindi ako magsisinungaling sa'yo."

"Okay..." sabi ni Karylle before she took a deep sigh.

"Ahh, Karylle, I'm so happy you're back, sobrang namiss talaga ki--"

"Are you cheating on me?"

Karylle noticed the flicker in Yael's eyes when she asked the question. Nagulat naman si K nung sumagot agad si Yael na para bang hindi na kailangan pa pag-isipan yung tanong nya.

"No."

"What?" tanong ni Karylle at nag frown.

"OF COURSE NOT! Karylle, of course I'm not cheating on you! Why would you even ask me that?!"

"Are you sure?" tanong ulit ni Karylle na naging seryoso ulit ang mukha.

"Yes. I am not cheating on you." sabi ni Yael at ngumiti. He cupped Karylle's face and caressed it softly bago nag lean forward to give her a kiss on her lips.

Karylle faked a smile bago niyakap si Yael. She closed her eyes as tears started to fall on her cheeks.

"Huy, wait, umiiyak ka ba?" tanong ni Yael when he felt tears on his back. Nag-alala naman ito bigla at hinawakan ulit yung mukha ni Karylle.

"Hindi... Wala 'to... I'm happy lang. Happy ako na malinaw na ang lahat."

"Malinaw na ang alin, honey?"

"Yael, I need to go..."

"Go? Go where?" Yael faked a laugh, "Kababalik mo lang sa'kin, tapos aalis ka ulit agad?"

Hindi na sumagot pa si Karylle at nag pull away na lang from Yael. She grabbed her purse, her phone and her jacket tapos tumungo papunta sa pinto palabas.

"Karylle! Wait lang! Saan ka ba pupunta? Sa family mo ba? Let me give you a lift."

Karylle got in her car at nagmamadaling nag drive paalis.
