Londyn told me what they were planning. She also told me that if I tell anyone, she will slit Aaliyah's throat. If I want my little sister to live, I have to betray my friends and who has become my family. I have to reveal the secrets that my people have been trying to hide from others for years. And, worst of all, if I don't do this, my sister will die.
I'm not an idiot. I know I will choose my last family member. But, still the guilt makes my throat ache.
Londyn wants to know if there are any weak points in the fire wall. If any guards patrol the area. She knows when I lie because of the chip. Apparently, it also measures my pulse.
"What if I get killed before I can deliver your information?" I ask. She also wants a detailed map of land, and where the strongest Infinites live. She wants to know what they do, and when they work. She wants to know their weaknesses and strengths.
"The chip has two parts," she explains, fingering the red button on the remote. I watch her finger warily, waiting for her to press it, the pain to nearly cripple me. "One part, as you know, is in your neck. The other part, is somewhere behind your ear. It records what you say, what others say, and your heart beat."
I start to reach up to touch behind my ear when I think of what Quin said. I slowly put my hand down. "So, everything I say is recorded?"
She nods, smirking. I have to get it out. If I could get it out, I could tell someone about the chip, about my sister. About what the Extras are planning.
"Can you answer any of my questions right now?" Londyn asks.
I nod. "Yes. There are 24 guards that guard the weak points. About two or three at each. The strongest ones that usually guard are Andrew Wilkson, Willa Berry, and myself."
"What do they look like? Anything wrong with them?" Londyn asks, sounding like she's planning something.
"Andrew has short hair. Black. He's broken his ankle about three times and if you kick him in it, it's not probable that he will be able to get up. And Willa has brown hair. Usually in a braid down her back. And she...she doesn't have any weaknesses. Not that I know of."
"Find out," Londyn says. "You'll leave tomorrow. But, you can't go to sleep. Your story will be that you got kidnapped and fought your way out."
