"What?" I ask, trying to sound as confused as I could. In reality, I was in a panic. He knows? How does he know?! I didn't tell him!"

"I was on patrol last night, remember? I saw something in the woods, and I went to check it out. Kennedy was there..."

"Kennedy? She's been missing for...2 years... We all thought she was dead." Kennedy used to be one of the top fighters our age. She's even beat three or four times. She was fiers, and didn't let anyone stand in her way. All this time, has she been working with the Extras?

All the Extras used to be Infinites, but they were thrown out because of something they did. Greed, a lot of times. They seem to have it worse off, but once an Infinite is taken away from their people, their eyes loose their flames. They also become immortal. In all senses, they become better. But they are stripped of moral, and their skin turned like paper. They are basically dead.

"Kennedy was never dead, but... She's an Extra now."

"You saw her?" I put a towel around myself, and turn off the water. I'd forgotten it was still running. I open the bathroom door, and Andrew is there. His eyes are slightly red.

"Yes. She wanted--"

"Andrew!" I interrupt. The second chip! I'd forgotten all about it! The one that can hear conversations. "Shut up."

He looks confused. "Wha--"

"Don't say another word about it. I need paper. And something to write with." It would be idiotic to tell me about everything, but... What if Londyn did tell me everything about the chips? Can she see what I can see? I hope not.

"Infinity, would you just--"

"No! Do you have any paper or not?"

Andrew stares at me for a moment, his eyes brown with annoyance. Then, he says, "It's in the drawer of my bedside table. I always keep some there. There should be a pen in there too."

I nod, and run toward his table. There is paper, but no pen. "There isn't a pen."

He looks confused for a second, then a little smile lifts his face. "Oh, yeah. Here." He reaches into his pocket, takes out a black pen, and tosses it to me.

I roll my eyes. The first thing I write is, Don't say anything. They can hear you.

He reads it, then looks confused. Who? he writes back.

The girl that came with my sister, before she died, her name is Londyn. She kidnapped me and planted a chip in my neck, and one behind my ear. If I try to get it out, it will rip through my throat and kill me. And if I tell anyone out loud she will kill me.

Then I guess I'll have to write what happened, then.
