I can't help but laugh at how wounded Andrew looks. He was sure he could beat me. Instead, I beat him 5 times in under 10 minutes each. He doesn't speak to me the rest of the day, and is walking kind of funny. The only time he actually does talk to me is during dinner.

"That really hurt," he said after about 5 minutes of silence.

"Did I wound your pride?" I ask with mock sympathy. "Maybe you should think twice before you challenge someone. Like about how you couldn't beat them--even as a child." I'm acting like he didn't even come close to landing a hit on me but the truth is, during the third fight, when Andrew was starting to get mad, he actually hit me pretty hard. I have a nasty bruise on my side to prove it.

And I still have a pretty bad headache from where he hit me in the head with the end of his sword. "Don't act like I didn't even come close to beating you, Infinity. I almost had you in the last match."

"Almost," I chirp, getting up and putting my dish in the sink. I'll have to wash it later tonight, but for now I'm going to get in the shower. "I'm going to get in the shower."

Andrew lets out a bark-like laugh. "Because you need it? You didn't even break a sweat!"

"Maybe not, but my feet got dirty," I say. Andrew rolls his eyes. I walk out and go upstairs, into the bathroom. I lock the door behind me and begin to strip off my clothes. Then, turn the shower on full blast.

I hear a low, quiet laugh, and a shiver goes down my spine. I know that laugh. I slowly look up and see Lucas, standing in front of my shower. What bothers me most isn't that I'm naked, but the fact that I'm positive that he wasn't right there even 5 seconds ago.

My eyes go instantly black when I see him, and I don't even bother trying to cover myself. "Lucas," I say. "What are you doing here?"

He grins slightly. There is something different about it, though. Something more menacing. If it weren't for the fact that my eyes were completely black, he would be able to see the yellow trickling into them. "Thought I'd stop by and say hello. See how you were doing. How are you, Infinity?"
I stare at him for a second, the black turning into yellow. This isn't Lucas. Everything about him screams that this is not right. This is not Lucas.
"What's the matter, Infinity? Something wrong? You look scared." He smirks and walks over to me, pressing me hard against the wall.
"Wh-what are you doing here? Get off of me!" His eyes are a bright green, the color of grass.
"How do you like my upgrade, Infinity? I'm an extra now. Hurt like hell," he whispers in my ear. His breath smells putrid, like a mettle garbage can that's been sitting in the sun all day.
"Get off of me!" I say. "Get away from me! Andr--"
I start to scream, but Lucas puts a hand over my mouth. "Shhh, shhh. No, no, don't do that. Don't call for him. If you do, I'll kill him." Lucas grins a little. "Kind of how Londyn killed little Aliyah."
At the mention of Aliyah, my skin goes hot, but it doesn't seem to bother Lucas. I whip myself out of his grasp. "Don't you dare talk about Aliyah!" I scream at him. I realize too late that I've screamed too loud.
"Infinity?" Andrew calls from downstairs. "What's wrong?"
Lucas rams me back up against the wall. "Poor, poor, Aliyah. Kidnapped so young to be tortured for four years... Then, left in the hands of her torturers so her sister can go betray her people. Only to be killed after her sisters saving ceremony." There is fake pity in Lucas's face, but his eyes are excited, full of energy and joy at what he's doing.
"But don't worry. She's with mommy and daddy and at least one sister now.
I hear pounding on the stairs as Andrew comes up to see what the banging was. Lucas is still holding me against the wall, taunting me, covering my mouth with one hand so I can't scream.
"One day, big sis will join them, too, Infinity. And it will be thanks to me," Lucas says, and, as Andrew hurls himself as the door, he throws me down and runs through the window. I hit my head on the tiled floor, and the bathroom door flies open.
"Infinity!" Andrew yells. He grabs a towel and throws it over me. "What the hell happened?"
