Cassie was getting annoyed. She doesn't usually get annoyed with Ben, but today she is. It's their last day in New Zealand and he's spent the first half of it on the phone with agent, and then Adam. When he got the first call from his agent, he left the breakfast table and locked himself in one of the guest rooms.
The second call from Adam came just as he was walking back out, so he stationed himself in the living room. He was lounging on the couch and telling Adam the story of how he proposed and expressed tons of excitement. That was incredibly sweet, but then he started talking about random stuff, like politics and sports and what-not.
Cassie loved that he was enjoying talking to his friend, but again, this is the last day of their vacation. In three days, they won't be alone because her mom and Kelly are coming to visit. After that, Ben's off to filming for however many months. She wanted to make this last day special.
As she was sitting bored at the kitchen counter, the perfect plan popped into her head. She smiled mischievously to herself and grabbed her bag with her wallet. She went into the living room and kissed Ben on the head, before gesturing that she was leaving. He looked at her curiously and said, "Hang on, Adam." He put the phone to his shoulder and asked, "Where are you going?"
"I just need to pick some things up at the store. I'll be back in a bit." He pouted and she just playfully rolled her eyes, before kissing him soundly on the lips. "Love you, baby," he called as she walked out. Cassie laughed when he heard him shout, "Not you, you git!"
Her and Ben have taken numerous walks around the shops (and he has bought her enough clothes to last her another lifetime), so she knew her way around the little nearby village. There was a specific shop that they've passed by numerous times and that she's thought very long and hard about going into. Since her and Ben have been glued to the hip, she hasn't had a chance.
Until now...

"No, no, Jullian Assange. You know, the Wikileaks guy. I don't know, it sounded interesting. Besides, I need another role to pay off that engagement ring." Ben peeked around the corner to the front door as he said that to make sure Cassie hadn't come home.
"I don't get paid for Star Trek for a while, it's a pretty hefty check. I'm hoping to use it for the honeymoon. Or the wedding, depends which will be more expensive." As soon as he said that, he heard the door open. He immediately changed the subject, to which Adam teased, "You haven't been engaged for three weeks and she's already got you on a leash."
"Yes, well, she's always had me on one, but I'm a willing participant," Ben hissed lowly. He peeked around the corner again and saw her bag and house key by the door. "Cassie?" He called. "You home, honey?" Adam laughed, "Yes, honey, I'm home!" Ben grunted, "Shut up, you wanker!"
Ben didn't get an answer back, so he wandered around the living room and kitchen to see if she was there. She wasn't. Sighing, he decided to go upstairs with Adam still talking his ear off. As Ben lightly pushed open the bedroom door, he softly called, "Cass, are you all--...Christ."
His eyes practically blew out of his head from the sight of her. She was laying in the center of the bed, her back propped up against the headboard, with a deep red silk robe that was tied loosely around her waist and he could just make out the same colored bra coming out from the top of her robe. He can only imagine her panties.
Cassie gave him a sly smile and Ben immediately interrupted Adam, saying, "Adam, I-I, um...I have to, uh..." He didn't finish his sentence, but rather just hung up the phone and tossed it to the floor. He watched as Cassie lifted up her left hand, the ring gleaming against the sun, and beckoned him over with her index finger.
