"Mmmm. Ca--mmm. Baby, I--mmmm, god." Ben finally gave up on trying to tell Cassie he thought he heard her dad calling her because he was too busy getting his lips ravished by hers. They've been making-out like teenagers for the past half hour. Cassie was on top of him, while he was propped up on some pillows against her headboard. His hands wandered all over her back, thighs, butt, hair, anything he could get his hands on. He didn't exactly want to have sex under the same roof of her parents, little sister, and big brother, so this would have to do for the next few days. Though, if she kept grinding against him like she was now, he wasn't sure how long he was going to last.

He gripped her hips and encouraged her to grind faster, while his mouth was rather occupied with her neck. "God, Cass, I'm going to come in my pants," he painfully whispered. He was so close, just right there, but then...she stopped. Ben whimpered and whined, "What? No, no, baby please. Not this again. No more teasing, I can't handle it." Cassie shushed him and leaned more towards the door. That's when she heard her dad say, "Cass? You in there?" Her and Ben immediately went into battle stations. He grabbed a book he found in her bedside drawer and propped it up on a pillow on his lap to cover his erection, while Cassie sat at her desk and turned on her computer. Ben nodded at her and she called to Liam, "Yeah, come in!"

Liam opened the door and smiled at the fact he didn't catch them in a compromising position. He was thinking of just walking in, but Julie told him otherwise. "Hey, guys. Leo just got back from the store and, Leo being Leo, forgot a few things. Do you think you can run down there and grab them?" Cassie smiled and said, "Sure. We'll leave in a minute." Ben was engrossed in this book he had in his hand, so he didn't answer. Liam went back out, shutting the door behind him. Cassie sighed in relief and looked over to Ben. She didn't recognize what it was he was reading, but she decided to make up his delayed orgasm and took the pillow off his lap, almost sending the book flying.

Ben looked up at her curiously and saw her staddling his lap again. "Want me to make that up to you?" She asked sweetly. Ben didn't give her the answer she expected. "You got beat up and put into a hospital?" He asked, his voice full of worry, yet mixed with annoyance and anger. Cassie didn't understand how he could possibly know that. That's when she looked down and finally recognized the book.

Her diary.

She took a sharp intake of breath when she saw it. She thought she got rid of it. Ben contiuned to read and the more he did, the more disgusted he looked. "You got beat up by three boys and a girl?" Tears were stinging his eyes as he continued, "It was...it was Jamie's idea? Your ex?" Cassie couldn't look at him. She started to get off his lap, but he wrapped a strong arm around her and kept her there. Quickly wiping her tears, she told him, "It wasn't his idea, no. It was someone else's. Anne, the leader of my bully pack. But Jamie just stood by and watched. After I was in the hospital, he kept apologizing to me and said they would have done the same thing to him if he helped. And I believed him." Ben set the diary off to the side and cupped her face. "When was this?" "There's a date written at the top. May 29, 2004...Prom night." Ben sighed and brought her down to him, embracing her in a hug.

She started crying into his shoulder and he let her for as long as she needed. He rubbed her back, stroked her hair, and lovingly shushed her, while placing a kiss on her head every once in a while. She didn't cry for as long as he thought she would, but she started taking deep breaths, and rested her head on his chest. Ben gently pushed some hair out of her face and behind her ear. After a few minutes, she looked up at him and sniffled, "Sorry." Ben laughed and wiped her tears. "Stop bloody apologizing, woman!" That got a laugh out of her and it was music to his ears.

Cassie started to get up and told him, "Come on, we need to go shopping." They went downstairs to see Liam, Leo, and Jess all standing around and talking. "LEO!" Cassie squealed. Leo turned to Cassie and shouted, "THERE'S MY LITTLE SISTER!" Ben thought his ear drum might have blown. Liam patted Ben on the back and told him, "When it comes to these two, there is no such thing as quiet. Get used to it."
