"This is getting insane, Ben!" Cassie shouted into the phone. "I can't take one step out of this place without worrying I'll get an epileptic seizure! The paparazzi are everywhere, Hunter's been freaking out all day because these random people are standing outside our apartment!"

She took a peak out of the window and now saw, not only the paparazzi, but fans holding pictures of Ben in hopes to get an autograph. "I mean, how in the hell did they find out where we lived?" She angrily asked.

"Cass, I know you're angry, but you need to calm down," Ben told her with an edge to his voice. She scoffed, "Don't tell me to calm down! And I am far from angry! One of the reporters asked if you thought I was good in bed! And you wouldn't believe how many people ask about the size of your dick!"

Ben let out an angry sigh. "I honestly don't know what you want me to do!" He shouted back. "I am in another country, working, I can't be focusing solely on you and problem that will go away in a few days! Call the fucking cops or something and stop complaining!"

She was about to retort something, but gasped when she heard the click of him hanging up on her. "Oh, you fucking asshole!" She screamed. "Thank you, best husband ever!" She tossed the phone on the table and plopped herself down on the couch.

She angrily turned on the T.V. and started punching the buttons to turn the channel so hard, she thought they were going to break. She turned on the news and saw her face. She turned it to a different news channel and saw her face there, too.

She finally just shut it off and opened her laptop. Netflix will help. She opened up House of Cards and started binge watching it until it was almost midnight. With a loud sigh, she closed her computer and started going up to the bedroom.

Just as she was about to get in bed, she heard her phone go off downstairs. She knew who it was. She went back down and grabbed it to see it was exactly who she thought it might be. "What, Benedict?" She answered sharply.

It was a few seconds before he answered, but he said, "Baby, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have yelled." Cassie pursed her lips and crossed her free arm over her stomach while tapping her foot. She didn't want to give in. She didn't want to give him pity. "I shouldn't have either," she finally said, going against all her morals. "I'm just...I'm so freaked out about having my picture taken like this and my privacy being invaded. They're putting stuff up about my past again and, even though it's not bothering me nearly as much, it still stings, you know? They even did a full story on Hunter. A goddamn dog."

Ben chuckled a bit. "Yes, I saw that. It was a pretty good piece though. They described his "bronze and silky hair" exactly how I always have." Cassie laughed at his stupid sarcasm, then a little more seriously asked, "What do we do?"

"What we always do," he told her, "ignore it. It might stir up something a little more dangerous, but it will pass. While I'm promoting, I'll be asked about it for sure and I'll answer it as best I can, but I'll also ask for privacy. I'm sorry, this is all new for me, too. Don't worry, I'll handle it. I promise."

"I believe you," she smiled. "Anyways, I'll let you go. Hope I didn't ruin your day to anything." She heard him huff out a laugh. "You could never ruin my day," he told her. "I love you, darling, and I'll see you in a couple weeks." She smiled and said, "I love you, too, Ben. Goodnight."

**

As promised, Ben handled it. Soon, the paps were out of her way and she could go out in semi-piece. There were still people snapping sneaky photos wherever she went, but it was better than them being in her face.
