Chapter 49

Ben woke up with a loud yawn and an urge to stretch his long limbs. As he was doing that, he reached over to pull Cassie to him...but his hand was met with cold sheets. Confused, he looked over and saw that she was gone. He hummed in thought and looked over to the bathroom, seeing the door open and lights off. 

He sighed and swung his legs over the side of the bed to get up. He cracked his back and smiled when he felt how sore it was because he knew exactly why. He's never had a woman ride him so many times in one night, but damn did it feel good. 

He was hoping to return the favor, maybe wake her up by going down on her, especially since it is their one year anniversary. His girl deserves a proper wake up call. But, unfortunately, he would have to do that another time. 

He walked downstairs in nothing but his skin and was met with a beautifully laid out breakfast on the dining room table. He couldn't contain his smile, as he looked over everything that was there. Of course, there were chocolate croissants and no matter how badly he wanted to steal one at the moment, he decided to let Cassie have first dibs with his tongue. 

He went into the kitchen and saw the most beautiful sight of all; his girlfriend of one year, wearing his shirt and boxers, serving up coffee in his favorite mug, and swaying her hips to an unheard melody. He couldn't make himself present yet because he just wanted to take her in for another moment. 

His eyes wandered all up and down her body, admiring every inch of it and remembering each time his hands, mouth and tongue have worshiped it. He couldn't stop staring. His eyes went all the way down to her feet, and then back up to where he met her ocean blue eyes. 

"Good morning Ben...and Big Ben," she said with a wink. Ben looked down to see he was sporting a massive erection. Oh what this woman does to him. He looked back up to her with a smirk. "We both wanted to give you a proper good morning, but you were gone," he pouted. 

Cassie "awed", then gave him a smooch. "Happy Anniversary," she said against his lips. He smiled and said, "Happy Anniversary, my love." He gave her a passionate kiss that was mostly tongue and teeth, before pulling away and gratefully receiving the coffee she had handed to him. 

"So, what might be on the agenda today?" He asked, while sitting down at the table. "This looks brilliant, by the way," he added, stealing a chocolate croissant. Cassie laughed and told him, "Thank you. As for the agenda, I suppose you could start by putting on some underwear?" 

He lifted his eyebrows at her, and then dropped his gaze to the boxers she had on. She immediately knew what he was implying. "If I give you these, then I won't have any underwear," she said. He shrugged. "What's the problem with that? Or we could both not wear any underwear and that way it'll be easy for me to just stick it in." 

That earned him a whack on the shoulder, but she gave him the boxers anyways. "Next on the list," she said, "would be to eat and I guess we can lounge around while we wait for our dinner reservations." Ben nodded and told her, "Sounds brilliant. Oh, and I got the days for New Zealand. It'll be the next two weeks, but I was thinking you could come up the week after and we can extend another week just for us." 

"That sounds great," she told him with a smile. "And I've been meaning to ask you, but would you mind Kelly coming to stay with us for a few weeks after we get back? And it sounds like my mom would want to join in, but if that's the case, they can stay in a hotel."

Ben waved her off and said with a mouth full of pancakes, "Nonsense. They're family, they'll stay here. We've got plenty of room upstairs, since you turned one of the guest bedrooms down here into a man cave." He gave her a teasing smile, but she still smiled and scoffed, "It's my office, Benedict."
