Light were flickering. A loud buzzing was heard in the room from the cables around the ceiling. Y/n felt her shoulders become heavy the longer she stayed in that room. She was having trouble breathing.
The man in front of her, sat on his desk scribbling her name on a paper before looking up at her with a smile that didn't feel welcoming. Melissa sat next to the witch, noticing how her leg kept bouncing cause a small clicking sound to be heard every second. Placing a hand on her knee, Y/n looked up to the woman next to her seeing a look on her face. A look that told her that they should get out of there immediately.
Y/n knew from that look that Melissa was worried but she couldn't leave. Not now.
" Y/n Deaton.." The man finally spoke up.
Y/n looked up at him finding him already staring at her with a smirk on his face. For some reason looking at him Y/n began to feel uncomfortable.
" High anxiety, trouble sleeping, hallucinations."
He listed.
Melissa nodded her head at him as he listed symptoms that she had written hoping to get her in. As Y/n listened, she couldn't help but feel like those symptoms were not entirely a lie. It was mostly how they would describe her situation to someone who wasn't aware of the supernatural world.
" Looks like you've got a lot going on there." The man said smiling at Y/n hoping to get a reaction out of her.
Y/n nodded her head forcing a smile on her face as her eyes travelled down from his face to the small nametag on his shirt.
Brunski. She read.
Seeing how Y/n stayed silent, Brunski turned back toward Melissa.
"I reassure you that we will try to help her as much as possible. This is a place exactly for situations like this so there's nothing to worry about." He told her with a smile.
Nodding her head at him as she caressed Y/n's back, Melissa spoke up.
" Thank you. But it will only be to get out of school and...have a place calm to stay for a few days. I do not want her to stay too long." She said looking around the dirty room as she let out the words.
" No, of course. I understand. We wouldn't want her to miss school too much." Brunski said nodding his head.
" We'll just have her here and get examined by our nurses, you know make her feel the most comfortable possible." He told her as he turned his head toward Y/n with that same creepy smile on his face.
Smiling at her, Brunski nodded his head before standing up making his chair scrap against the floor. Feeling startled, Y/n looked up at him as he smirked down at her.
" Well, i think it's best we get her to her room and make her feel the most comfortable." He said.
From the sound of his voice, Y/n felt like he was rushed, almost as if he was trying to get things done the fastest way possible.
"So it's best to say your goodbyes now." He said to Melissa pointing his hand towards Y/n.
Standing up, Y/n turned towards Melissa as she approached her. Looking back towards Brunski finding him staring at them and waiting impatiently, Y/n turned back towards the woman, smiling at her gratefully.
" You call me, ok?" Melissa whispered at her as she brought her into her arms.
" You do what you need to do and then you call."
She repeated sounding worried.
Nodding her head against her shoulder, Y/n felt Melissa caress her head gently.
" I will. Don't worry."
She said before finally letting go.
Moving a step away from her, ready to follow the man out of the room, Y/n turned back on last time, letting out a small thank you before finally leaving the room.
Brunski glanced back at her making a small gesture telling her to follow him. He held that creepy smile on his face, looking back every few seconds making sure she was behind him.
