Chapter 19

Kaylinas pov.

I turned on the tv to take my mind off of Liam. I'm sure he's fine.

"Two young teenage boys were found shot at grizzle park earlier this night. " the anchor lady said. Two pictures popped up on the screen. One of Liam and one of Richard.

I changed my clothes and ran out if the hospital. I bumped into my aunt in the lobby.

"Tracy check me out now." I demanded. She was confused but she obeyed. I grabbed her keys and drove to the park. Please don't be dead, please don't be dead.

The park was surrounded by cops and ambulances. There was yellow tape everywhere. I slipped under the tape and jogged to the middle of park. They had one body bag. They were reeling it to the ambulance.

"No no no no no." I cried. I fell to my knees. There lying motionless on the floor was Liam. The paramedics were putting him on a stretcher.

"Liam." I whispered. They rushed him to the ambulance.

"Miss you can't be here." And officer said. He helped me up and ushered me to my car. I drove back to the hospital.

"Liam Payne." I said to the front desk.

"He's in surgery right now. Ill let you know when he's out." She said. I sat curled up to the wall.

He did this all for me. Everything was for me. I waited and waited. It has been 2 hours.

"Kaylina. He's out. He's in room 316." The receptionist said. I smiled and ran towards the room. He was laying there. He was hooked up to a machine.

"Liam." I whispered. I sat down next to him. Just as he stayed with me, ill stay with him.

I grabbed his hands and placed them in mine. His fingers twitched as he opened his eyes.

"Hi." I smiled. I wiped the tears that were falling from my eyes.

"Hi." He breathed.

We didn't say anything else. We just looked at each other. We didn't need to say anything.

"What happened?" I finally asked.

"He's gone kaylina. I made sure of it." Liam said.

"I love you." I smiled.

"I love you too." He said.

"Hey can I come it?" Gaby asked as she peeked her head through the door. I nodded and she sat next to us.

"How are you?" She asked.

"Fine. It hurts but nothing I can't stand." Liam smiled at me.

"Uh delivery for Liam Payne." The nurse said.

I got up to get the flowers she was holding. There was a card on it. It read:

Nice catching up with you Liam, see you soon.

I stood there. I didn't know what to do, what to feel.

"Everything okay?" Liam said. They both turned to me.

"Yeah." I slid the card into my pocket and handed Liam the flowers.

"They're from me." I quickly said.

"Thanks babe." He kissed me on my cheek.

"You two go home. Ill see you tomorrow babe." He said.

"Are you sure you don't want me to stay?" I asked.

"No go home and get some rest." He said.

I agreed and left with Gaby.

"Goodnight." She said as she walked to her room. I walked into mine. I changed into some shorts and a tank top.

There was a small USB drive laying on my bed. I plugged it into my computer. It was a video.

"Come on kaylina." Richards voice said. It was tape the night he raped me. At the end of the video was a message.

"I'll be watching."
