Caspar PoV:

Work was done for today. Thank god. I was drinking some water near my locker, hearing my co-workers throw some banter at each other and laugh. The usual, Arden and Tyler arguing, whilst Connor and Josh laugh and make some comments in between. I smiled, closing the locker, when suddenly our boss walks in.

"Hellooo children, how is everyone doing?" he grins, as everyone quiets down and shifts their attention to him.

"Hey boss, we're doing good!" Tyler flashed him a smile, everyone else nodded respectfully with a few fines and how about yous.

"I'm good too," he grinned yet again.

"Were we being too loud, perhaps?" Arden begins, her voice steadier than usual.  Marcus was pretty humble and fun, but he was still the person who pays us.

"Not at all. I just came by to check on you all." He then darted his eyes at me, "I also wish to speak to our talented singer Caspar for a bit."

Everyone else looks at me then, eyes filled with suspicion and a few eyebrows raised.

Uh-oh, what have you done? Mouthed Josh with a chuckle. I just shrugged, shaking my head at the ginger.

"We'll just leave you to it then," Conner commented, as they all started carrying their stuff and waving us goodbye. Josh gave me an encouraging look, as he was the last person to exit.

I love my best friend.

Soon, there was only Marcus and I in the staff room.

"Is everything okay sir?" I gulped, as he sat down on the chair near the wooden table. I was really nervous. I started recalling things that I could possibly have done to upset him.

Marcus looked at me with knowing eyes, and said, "Sit down Caspar. I want to chat with you for a bit."

I sat across from him, as the handsome guy  tied his fingers together, extending his arm on the table.

What? He really is.

" So, I hear that you've been living with my good friend, Joe Sugg." He flashed me a smile.

"I have, yeah. You know him? I didn't know that." I said, my eyes winding.

"It's a small world, " he laughed, "It must be tiring, huh? Living with him, I mean." He folded his arms, smiling at me lightly as he leaned backwards.

I winced.

Living with Joe is not tiring at all. Sure, he has mood swings and sometimes is hard to understand, but I'll never describe it as tiring. He was also Marcus's friend, why would he say that?

"No, he's a lovely person actually."

Marcus beamed at me, " he is? It's just that I find it a little intriguing how you get along so well. Joe isn't a social butterfly, you should know that by now."

I know. But I still don't mind.

"Uh, the whole thing happened by accident actually. Professor Sugg gives me singing lessons, and then somehow I ended up staying and stuff." I explained, not sure why my boss wanted to know this.

Marcus laughed lightly, "That's pretty generous of him."

"Yeah." I nodded, blushing a bit.

"Will that be all?" I questioned as I looked down at the phone watch. It was getting pretty late and I needed to get home.
