Caspar's PoV:

Day 1:

"So I guess that's everything," Joe blurted, wrapping a red scarf around his neck. He looked so cute in his beige jumper; his dark honey hair flopped outside his beanie as he hanged his nerdy glasses on the front of the jumper.

Joe lifted his eyes and looked straight at me after putting his shoes on, shifting in his place as he held on to the small green bag of clothes.

"Caspar," he breathed, as I stood near the kitchen counter, watching him all this time in silence.

"Yeah Suggy?" I uttered in a sad tone, pouting slightly his direction.

"I'm leaving to Brighton for five days-"

"For work," I cut him off, annoyed. I really didn't want him to go, I just confessed the day before yesterday, and I've wasted yesterday in only sleeping and working at night. I didn't get a chance to spend time with him.

This is unfair.

"Yeah. Just take care of the apartment, I swear if you burn it down-"

"You'll kill me," I completed his sentence, patting my chest as I giggled slightly. Truth is, he repeated it way too many times for me to forget by now.

He nodded slowly, "and the singing lessons will go on. Just bring your guitar along and we could Skype the lesson."

"Okay," I said bitterly, smiling a small smile.

Just stay. Tell me who Dr. Daniel is. I thought, wanting to scream those words out instead.

"Don't bring people over," he suddenly warned, eyeing me with that familiar death glare of his. "I will find out."

I chuckled, "of course."

"Okay," he looked down at his phone, checking the time as he huffed, "uh, the tube leaves in 15 minutes." He shifted his icy blue eyes at me, " I'm leaving now."

I nodded faintly as I watched him tighten his grip on his bag, turned around, and walked a few steps to the door. I couldn't take this anymore, I had to say goodbye properly.

I found myself moving towards him while he turned the handle open. With a quick move, I wrapped my arms around his waste, nuzzling my face to his shoulder as the shorter boy jumped in his place, startled at our sudden contact.

"Cas-Caspar" he stuttered.

"I- um..." I trailed off, "just- take care of yourself," I muffled through his shoulder, "I'll be waiting here for you."

Joe winced a bit at the words I just uttered, but he didn't move nor did he push me away like I expected him to. He just stood between my arms silently, allowing me to hold his back to my chest firmly.

God, he smelled so good.

"Caspar," he finally said as I sniffed the back of his neck, his voice strong and steady.

"Hmm?" I replied, closing my eyes.

"Let go of me already, I have to leave or I'll miss the train you idiot," he blurted, shuffling slightly.

I giggled as I let him go, my cheeks were warmer than they used to be a few minutes earlier. Joe turned to face me for the last time, and I could swear that I've seen a hint of a blush on both of his cheeks.

Adorable.

And then he left.

I closed the door behind him and leaned on to it. The apartment already seemed gloomy without his presence. Well, at least I got to hug him goodbye before he left.
