Levi opened his eyes. It was dusk and the air was still.
The air reeked of blood and battle. Levi looked down and saw Margy's eyes dull. Levi's gaze softened.
'She isn't use to seeing death....Poor brat, She's still just a kid.' Levi thought. He rubbed Margy's head for while.
"I'm going to try and contact someone." Levi stated. Margy's eyes instantly flashed up to him in fear. Levi chuckled. "I'll be fine, don't worry I'll come back..." He said. Margy nodded and didn't protest, she was in too much shock to speak. Let alone yell her opinion. Levi got up and silently walked down the ditch. He glanced back at Margy and saw she had her knees hugged to her chest and her eyes were cast out, like the was in a trance. Levi turned and started to walk, hopefully finding help along the way.
Levi finally made it to an abandoned campsite where he found a radio. He mentally cheered in his mind.
He switched it on.
"Hello?" He called. He kept trying for what seemed like hours. He finally got the right station.
"Hello?" A voice said.
"Hi, This is General Levi Ackerman. I need a rescue team ASAP. I am in the at an abandoned rendezvous point at Alberta, Edmonton. Six miles off the coast of British Columbia." Levi said. The radio woman sounded stunned to hear Levi's voice calling for a rescue mission.
"Of course general. We'll be there soon." She said.
Levi stood up and went to go get Margy.
Margy was waiting for Levin in the ditch, she made no movement. No sound and no emotion. Margy blinked a few times but that was it. Josh's words were playing in her mind, like a bad song stuck in your head.
'Win this for us...'
Margy gripped her knees harder.
'I could have saved him....I know I could have! If I was just......Just....'
Margy couldn't finish her train of thought, because a twig snapped. She smiled in relief.
"I didn't think you were gonna make it-" She cut herself off when she saw the Chinese commander in front of her with soldiers pointing guns at her. Margy gulped.
"Found you..." The commander said.
Levi ran towards the ditch.
He heard a scream, but not just any scream Margy's scream. Levi ran faster, and the sight he saw shocked him.
The chinese soldiers were putting tied up Margy in their van. Levi watched for a second.
Margy saw him and her eyes widened in fear.
"Let her go!" Levi shouted. The chinese soldiers turned to him. The chinese soldiers aimed their guns at him, Margy got loose from the rope around her.
"Stop! I'll tell you everything you need to know! Just... Spare him..." Margy pleaded. Levi flinched at her words. Since when was Margy so weak?
Levi glared. The chinese commanded looked at her he brought his fist up and punched her, knocking her unconscious. Levi growled in rage. The Chinese commander smirked. He lifted his hand to give the signal to shoot, when the sound of a helicopter came. Levi looked up and saw the Canadian helicopter land.
"让我们去吧!我们有我们需要的一切! (Let's go! We have all that we need!)" The commander said. They took off, Levi was about to go after them but the helicopter landed in front of him. Erwin looked at the general.
"Need a lift, old friend?" He asked. Levi watched the jeep go with Margy in it. He looked down.
"Yeah..." He said and climbed aboard the helicopter. He looked out the window.
'Don't worry Margy... I'll save you!'
