Margy slept in her bed, with levi beside her.
She didn't want to sleep together, but since something could happen to Levi in his fragile state, it was better to watch over him 24/7.
She watched Levi. She shook her head.
"Idiot..." She muttered under her breath. "You should have been more careful." She chuckled. Levi stirred in his sleep.
"What did you say?" He said. Margy blushed.
"I didn't think you would hear, me Levi..." Margy said.
"Hmph." Levi replied. Margy sat up and got out of bed.
"Where are you going?" Levi's voice echoed through the room. Margy looked at him with a smirk.
"Secret." She whispered as she made the motion of her fingers, sealing her lips. Levi looked at her annoyed, but Margy ignored it and exited the room. She entered the kitchen and went to the mini fridge. And took out some eggs, and toast, as well as oranges. She woke up extra early to make Levi breakfast so he could have a breakfast in bed.
Mary turned on the stove, and buttered the pan. She cracked four eggs, two for Levi and two for herself. She toasted the toast on the stove as well. Since they were in war, and were in the middle of nowhere, they didn't have much stoves. Only the really high ranks, had them. And currently you were staying at your small cabin instead of Levi's room. Margy peeled the oranges and juiced them with a juicer making homemade orange juice. Margy was humming to herself while she cooked for Levi.
Margy flipped her eggs, since she hated the yolk raw. Margy set levi's breakfast onto a plate and on a tray, with napkins and forks and knives, that Margy worked extra hard to clean to get them shiny. Margy smiled at herself, as she walked in the room.
"Levi." Margy said. Levi opened his eyes and looked at Levi, what he saw surprised him, there was a beautifully made breakfast with orange juice and toast. Levi sat up. He took the food and Margy sat on the bed expectantly, waiting for a review on her cooking skills.
Levi took a bit out of the egg... he chewed then swallowed. His face was blank and passive.
Margy looked at him curiously. Levi chuckled.
"Congratulations." He said. Margy's face brightened. "You managed to ruin the taste of food for me." Levi finished. Margy's head dropped.
"I'm sorry... "Margy apologized, she felt a hand on her head.
"I was joking..." Levi smiled. Margy pouted.
"Not funny." She muttered. Levi chuckled.
Once Levi was done his breakfast, Margy took his plate and went to wash despite his protests. Margy once again laid on her bed, she sighed.
"Thank you for the meal." Levi said, his face sincere and calm. Margy nodded and closed her eyes.
"I'll make it up to you." Levi said.
"Levi you don't have to-"
"No, I'm gonna take you to dinner." Levi said, catching Margy by surprise. "It's funny how we confessed how we love each other when, we haven't had a single date." Levi said. Margy blushed.
"Yeah, I suppose it is..." She whispered. Levi nodded.
"Then it's settled then."
Margy wore a dress for the first time, she waited for Levi. He exited his office in a suit and a cravat. Margy smiled at him.
"You look handsome." Margy complimented. Levi nodded.
"And you look beautiful." Levi said, while kissing her hand. Margy blushed and looked down. Levi put out his arm for Margy to take, and Margy gladly took it. They walked for a while and Levi finally stopped. They were at the cafe, only the upper part where you have to pay to get in. Margy sat down in one of the tables and Levi opposite of her.
Margy and Levi ate while talking and enjoying each other's company.
of course all good things must come to an end.
"You're on a date!!!!" A voice said. All of a sudden Hanji came and glomped Magy.
"And just like that, their perfect night as ruined."
