Levi stirred, Margy eyes widened and she watched the general intently.
"Levi..." Margy muttered. Levi's eyes twitched and he opened his eyes slowly. Margy held her breath. Levi glanced around the room, then noticed Margy.
"Private?" He questioned. Margy's eyes watered, she smiled at him.
"Hi..." She whispered. Levi slowly got up, and was instantly greeted by a warm embrace.
"I thought, you would never wake up..." Margy cried happily onto his shoulder. Levi was stunned, Where was this affection coming from?
"Private? What are you doing?" He asked coldly, regaining his composure. Margy chuckled.
"Sorry, Levi." Margy said. Levi stared at her."You were crying." Levi said. Margy nodded she wiped her tears.
"Yeah..." She muttered. Levi looked around the room. He saw the flowers beside his table and and noticed that this was the first floor.
Why was he on the first floor?
"What happened, Margy?" Levi asked. Margy looked down, sadly.
"You went into a coma, General." She said. Levi looked at her shocked.
A coma?
'Shit...' Levi thought. He glanced back at the private beside him.
"How, long? Private?" He asked.
"A year. And I'm not a private anymore." Margy smirked. "I was promoted to admiral a while ago." Margy said proudly. Levi chuckled.
"I'm proud of you." He said. He looked at the flowers. "Who are those from?" He asked.
"Hanji." Margy replied. Levi nodded, he noticed that Margy was staring at him, she had a soft gaze, like she couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Tch. Why are you staring, brat?" Levi asked.
Margy smiled and turned around and walked out the room, muttering something under her breath.
"Because I almost lost the most thing precious to me..."
Margy raced towards Hanji, she was crying happily. Hanji noticed, she raised an eyebrow, Erwin was with her. Margy grinned and they knew what that meant.
Levi was reading the card, that was on the the flowers.
"Greif, huh?" He muttered. Hanji ran in.
"Shortie!! You're up! We thought you were done for!" Hanji laughed. Levi glared.
"Thanks." He replied.
"Its good to know, that you're awake, take the rest of the week to heal and we'll inform you on the details later." Erwin said. Hanji nodded.
"Yeah, We all lost hope, except for Margy here!" She said, pulling Margy into a hug. Hanji grinned at Levi. "She visited you every day!" Hanji glomped Margy.
"C-cant b-breath!" Margy gasped.
"Oi! Shitty glasses, you're suffocating her." Levi said. Hanji noticed and let go with a sorry. Margy laughed.
"Well, it was nice seeing you but I have paperwork to do, General." Erwin said, formerly.
"I'll come with you." Hanji said following him. Margy smirked at them.
"Have fun~" She sang. She turned back to Levi and grinned.
"So you visited me everyday?" Levi smirked. Margy blushed.
"Y-Yeah..." She murmured.
"Why?" Levi asked. Margy looked at him, and then out the window.
"Well... You were a part of my team... my comrade. I couldn't let you go that easily... I visited you because I had hope that if you were able to hear my voice talking to you, all those times, that maybe you'll come home." Margy admitted. "And also...." Margy trailed off, she looked at Levi with soft gaze.
"Because I love my General."
