Rubbing the sleepiness away from my eyes, I reached for my phone kahit mabigat pa sa heart. Six palang kasi ng umaga.

"Hello?" I muttered sleepily.

"Hello,"said the other line. I put my phone away and read the name on the screen. Justine. Oh. Good. Anong problema niya?

"What?" I asked coldly.

"We're leaving at eight in the morning."

"Whaaaaat?" I exclaimed in disbelief.

"Biyahe pa kasi tayo sa Tanay. Binago nila yung venue. Sorry kung ngayon lv hrhhdfhyffhuiuokang kita nainform. I tried to call you as soon as possible,"he explained.

"Justine...baka hindi ako payagan ni papa."

"I'll take care of it. Tatawagan ko siya mamaya. Pupunta ako diyan, mga 7:30. Okay?"

"Okay."

"And pack clothes for two days,"he said in a low voice.

"Whaaaat? Two days? Are you kidding me?!"

Anong gusto niya? Patayin ako ng tatay ko?

"Okay lang if you don't want to. I'll just inform them pero they're expecting you'd stay."

"They? Sino?" I asked.

"My family,"he said in a low voice.

Whaaaaaaaaaat?! With his family for two days? Gawd. Can I do that?

"Bakit naman nila ako gustong mag-stay?" I pried.

"Gusto agad sister? Ine-expect lang diba. Assuming much."

Ow. There goes the old Justine.

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. k

"I know you're rolling your eyes. Too bad,"he said teasingly.

"Whatevs. Kailangan magpaalam ka kay papa."

"Walang problema, "he said with confidence.

Hmmmp. Malakas ang loob niya kasi may tiwala sa kanya si papa.

"Fine. Matutulog muna aketch,"sagot ko.

"Hoy! Shunga ka? Two hours lang ang time mo para magprepare. Matutulog ka pa bruha ka?"

"Eh ang aga pa kasi,"pagrereklamo ko.

"Bahala ka. Basta 8:00 am sharp tayo aalis. Okay?"

"Okay. Bye!"

Meyn. Tanay nga pala kami pupunta. Wow. Exciting 'to.

"Demi? Tumawag si Justine. Aalis daw kayo?" tanong ni papa while I was packing.

"Ah. Opo pa. Sa Tanay. birthday kasi ng lola niya. Okay lang po ba sa inyo if I stay there for two days?"

"That's what we talked about. I want you to take care of yourself, okay?" Tila nalulungot na sabi ni papa.
