[*] Gray's Dream [*]

"Underground dreams

Fill the air

With mystery

And wonder

Louder than drums

Sounds the thunder." I sang, nearing a man with a monster mask. He laughs as my voice of death doesn't work."Stupid girl." he says.

Suddenly, I start screaming. He absorbs the sound waves and uses them as energy to blast Naruto off the nearby cliff."GRAY!!!" he calls to me as he falls. I lean on the edge, extending my arms and I cry, my tears falling almost as fast as he does. Suddenly I see everything in red. Red like blood. Blood that I must have.

I turned, feeling my tears pouring from my eyes. The masked man and I run for each other with the intent to kill. There's a flash of light and I find myself in a grass field with cherry blossoms falling from their trees.

I sit up see Naruto standing a few feet away from me."You did this to me." he said. But he was sort of smiling."I'm sorry." I said."It's too late for sorry." he said and turned and walked away."No, Naruto!" I cry, raising to my feet to run after him. The light becomes a dim spot in front of me and I run for it but it disappears, leaving me in the darkness.

I see snakes, surrounding me and hissing at me."Welcome, child." I heard a man's voice. Suddenly I see Sasuke chained to a wall and unconscious."Sasuke..." I mutter."How could you, Gray?!" Sakura says from behind me.

I turn around and see her crying over Naruto's dead body with a kunai sticking out of his chest."I thought you were on our side." Kakashi says from behind me again. I turned and see him chained to a wall as well. I see Orochimaru and Kabuto standing in front of me.

I scream and fall to my knees, holding my head as I cry in confusion and fear.

I wake up screaming, feeling sweat trickle from my forehead. My breathing calms as I look at my clock. It's 2:00 AM.

When I woke up again, the sun was shining in my face through the window. I got up and went downstairs to the kitchen to check for rats. All clear. I showered, changed, grabbed my iPod and headphones and went for a walk. While walking, I sang along to each song and sort of danced with it, too.

"We are fighting dreamers!

Aiming for the top,

Don't care about appearances,

Fighting dreamers!

Fighting for what we believe in!" I sang loudly, skipping and waving my hands around. When I stopped to do the Harlem Shake (for unknown reasons) I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned around. It was Sasuke."What?!" I shouted and he took off my headphones."You have the voice of an angel but the rest of the world doesn't need to hear it." he said.

"Oh, sorry. FIGHTING DREAMERS!!!" I hollered in his face and he jumped."You're SO annoying." he said."You know, Sasuke," I began, placing a hand on his shoulder."What?" he asks angrily."I wanna like you. I really do. But you make it so hard." I said and put a hand on his cheek. And because I'm so awesomely weird, I lightly slapped his cheek twice and put my headphones back on.

I continued to the training grounds to see Naruto in the river, trying to walk on the water. I cooed my in head as I watched him fall in the cold water."Poor guys needs help." I say to myself. I turned off my iPod and put it in my weapons pouch as I walked up to my struggling friend.

I had it good for a second."Hi Naruto!" until I did that. He lost all focus and shouted as he fell in."Hey, why'd you do that?!" he yelled at me."Sorry." I shrugged."If I jump in, will you feel better?" I ask."Please." he said with an angry face. A blush rose to my cheeks as I stripped off my blue dress, nothing left but my red bra and underwear. At least it looked like a bikini.

I jumped into the cold water and let myself sink for a minute.'GRAY!!!' I heard Naruto shout. I saw him falling from the cliff again.

When Gray jumped in, she stayed under for a few seconds then I saw bubbles come up and pop. I was worried so I went under to see her reaching out to me so I grabbed her hand and pulled her up."Gray, what happened?" I ask. She coughed a few times and brushed her long blond hair away from her face.

"I'm sorry." she said."Sorry?"

"It's my fault." she said as she cried on my wet shoulder."Hey, it's fine. I've been falling in the water all day, you don't have to apologise."

"No. Not that."

"Then what?"

She whipped the water from her eyes as she sobbed softly on my shoulder."I-I had a nightmare. There was a guy who threw you off a cliff and I didn't do anything to help. I was frozen. And then you left me. You didn't forgive me. You hated me." she sobbed. It was silent and she continued to whip tears and water from her face. I smiled and pulled her close to me in a sweet embrace.

"I could never hate you. You're my best friend. And that will never change." I informed her. She stopped crying and she hugged me back. We pulled away from the hug and she face me with a smile."Please don't cry anymore. You're much prettier when you smile."

"You're adorable no matter what." she said. I chuckled lightly and kissed her forehead for a few seconds.

As I walked alongside Neji, I talking about how annoying my dad was being last night and I noticed he wasn't really paying attention. He was staring off into space with a light blush on his cheeks. Blush? That's not normal."Neji, you alright?" I ask."Yeah." he answered, turning away. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, wondering if it's the birds and the bees or a cold.

"Okay, what's up?" I ask."It's Gray. I like her but I never really know how to talk to her. This has never happened before." he said, slightly smiling."I'll say." I chuckled. My eyes drifting up from his lower gaze and to the river ahead, seeing Naruto and Gray hugging."Uh oh." I said."What?" Neji asked and nearly turned around to look behind him.

"Uh, nothing!" I said, keeping him from turning."I just remembered....I..left my scrolls at home and I need to get them right now." I said frantically trying to pull him."But, you said you don't need them for training." he said.'Damn it! Why did I say that?!' I shouted in my head. Again, he almost turned but I stopped him."Uh, you don't wanna look that way. There's, um, something unpleasant over there. It would probably make you puke." I lied.

"My stomachs stronger than yours." he said. I paused, glaring at him."I aught to let you turn around just for that." I said."Turn around for what?" he said. I tried again to keep him from turning but it was too late. He gasped and froze, seeing Naruto kiss Gray's forehead and dropped the ninja tools in his hands."I'm sorry, Neji." I said.

My heart shattered and I felt a knot form in my throat. My breathing sped up as I backed away from the scene."Neji." Tenten called me. I ignored her and ran off crying. The first girl I've ever had feelings for, gone to some blond idiot.'Damn you, Naruto.' I thought.

Yikes, Neji gettin feisty! Anyway, I'll give you a small hint about Neji. He won't be all mad and jealous like Kiba would probably be or something but he Just won't be talking for a while. So, I hope you like it and I love you all. Maybe you all will make some awesome stories for me, too.
