Walking with music in my ears is my number one hobby, besides playing my instruments. I just walk, sing and dance while I'm heading nowhere in particular. I soon felt a strange presence nearby, one I didn't think I recognized. Soon, a figure turned a corner too fast and crashed into me.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" he said."What are you even running from?" I ask, and inadvertently look into his eyes. It was Kiba's animal like eyes that were absolutely adorable."It's...my mom." he confessed with a sigh."Why? What's wrong with her?" I ask.

"That's what I wanna know. I walked in the house and she just started beating me like I did something wrong." he explained."Did you?" I ask with a smirk."Well, apparently! But I don't know what I did." he shrugged."Maybe you should ask." I suggested, letting go of his hand when he helped me up.

"I tried but she said to guess. How the FUCK am I supposed to guess while you're frickin' beating the shit out of me?!" he yelled, making me laugh."KIBA, YOU IDIOT!!!!" I heard in the distance. Akamaru trembled for a second and took off ahead of us."Oh God, run." Kiba said, pushing me in front of him. I ran alongside him as his mother chased behind us. Well, him. I don't know why I was running.

Kiba took my hand and turned a corner, hiding behind a dumpster and his mom ran past us. He sighed and we looked to each other before bursting into laughter."That was kinda fun!" I laughed."Yeah, but it gets old when it happens all the time." he said.

"Why does it happen so often?" I ask, smiling up at him.. He chuckled before answering."Because my mom's a crazy psycho who can never remember to take her pills in the morning."

That made me laugh harder and it made my stomach hurt.

Gray's laugh was the cutest sound I've ever heard. She's so cute in her blue dress and her long blond hair is so awesome. Akamaru climbed into her lap and licked her hand."Hey, buddy." she said and then gasped, lifting him up."I'm gonna name you buddy." she said.

"But, his name's Akamaru." I told her."I know. Buddy is gonna be my name for him. I used to have a white cat named Buddy. Well, he wasn't actually mine he was a stray but he always came by. Although, my mom would never let him in the house we still fed him. Eventually, he ran off and never came back. I don't know what happened to him." she explained, a tear forming in her eye.

I scoot closer to her as she continued grooming Akamaru's head with her fingers."I'm sure he's okay. Maybe a shelter took him in." I said with a cheerful smile. She looked at me, then back to the ground.

Soon, we made our way out of the stinky alley way and onto the streets, walking as the sun began to set."So, you've always had a thing for cats?" I ask as we walk."Yeah, all animals, really." she shrugged looking up at the stars that began to appear in the sky.

"If you want...I could..get get you a cat." I said, a blush forming across my face. She giggled a little, which made me blush more.'Damn, she's cute!' I thought."You don't have to. I know dogs are more your thing."

"Yeah, I don't think a cat would let me live long enough to deliver him to you." I chuckled. She put Akamaru down as she came to the front of her house."So, you wanna hang out tomorrow, maybe train with me and my team? They're really cool so don't expect to be bored." I offer, giving her a smirk, to which she hides a blush.'Oh yeah, she's diggin' me.'

"I'd love to." she accepted."Cool." I shrugged, making myself seem cool. Ha, I am cool! She went inside and closed her door after waving goodbye. After I made sure she couldn't hear me, I celebrated with my small white Ninken.

"Yes!" I yelled."Kiba!!!" I heard."Oh no!" I yelled and ran home as my mother once again began chasing me.
