Your POV:
I went to my moms room and saw the twins waiting outside her room.
"I need to speak with you." The doctor said. Isaac looked up at me.
"Okay." I said to the doctor and followed him.
"Your mother still being here is a miracle." He said. "We can't keep treating something that can't be treated. It was too late when we began and its even worse now. The treat isn't helping anymore, its hurting her."
"What are you saying?"
"I'm saying that you should get your siblings and anyone close to her, and spend as much time with her as you can." He said.
"How much time is that?" I asked him crying.
"I'd say about a week at the most." I looked down. "I'm very sorry I wish there was something more we could do for her but it was just too late when we started."
I nodded. "You guys did everything that you could and I'm very thankful for that." I smiled. "Thank you."
He nodded. I walked outside and saw the twins with Kelley, Tobin, Alex, Christen, Julie, and Marco.
Alex stood up and walked towards me. "What did he say?"
"He said that we need to spend time with her. We could lose her within the week." My voice cracked. Alex hugged me and I buried my face into her shoulder as I cried. "I'm not ready to lose her." I mumbled into her shoulder.
"Y/N?" I looked up at saw Ally with Mariah. "Tobin called me what's wrong?" Alex told her and I looked at my siblings.
"Guys can you come with me?" I said to them. Mariah ran over and grabbed my hand and Marco did the same. The twins knew what was happening and stayed further back. I sat the younger kids on a bench and kneeled in front of them.
"What's wrong with mom?" Marco asked.
"She's very sick. The hospital has been able to help her, that's why she's always here. But lately they just can't help her anymore."
"Why not?" Mariah asked.
"When they found out that she was sick it was already too late. They tried really hard to help her and stop the sickness but they just can't."
"What's gonna happen to her?" Isaiah asked.
"Mom has about a week left with us." I said to him. "We're gonna spend all the time with her that we have left." I said. "We're gonna be together as a family." I looked at all of them.
"What happens to us after mom leaves?" Isaac asked.
"You guys are gonna stay with me and Ally okay? Help us out with the baby." I said rubbing my stomach.
"So is mom gonna die?" Marco asked.
I nodded. I heard Isaiah start crying behind me. I looked to my left and saw some of my teammates and my wife watching. "Mom has cancer which is a disease. Sometimes people fight it but other times some people, like mom, don't get that chance."
Marco looked down. "But we're gonna stay together." I looked at all of them. "We're family. Mom wants us to stay together and to stay strong. It's gonna be tough I know that but we can do it. She did raise us after all." I smiled. "Go see her." I said. They all went into her room and I stood up.
"How you doing?" Kelley said.
"I've been better." I looked at her. "I lost a lot of things in my life, but knowing I'm gonna lose my mom? This is just the worst." I said sighing. "I can't be what my mom wants me to be for them." I said.
"Y/N." Isaac said coming out of the room. "Mom wants to talk to you." The other kids came out and sat outside and I went to see my mom.
"Hey ma." I said.
"Hi." She said. She was so thin and pale. Didn't even look like the same person.
"I know I don't have much time left." She said. I teared up. "Hey look at me." I looked at her. "You are gonna take care of your siblings. Marco wants to be a pro just like you. Keep the twins out of trouble and make sure Mariah doesn't grow up to quickly. Understand?" I nodded. "Say it. Say that you understand."
"I understand."
"Good." She said. "Now give me a hug."
I bent down and hugged her.
"My oldest daughter." She said. "You're going to be the greatest mother. Love and protect your child and do whatever it takes for them to achieve their dreams."
"Its a girl mom." I smiled. "We're having a girl."
She smiled. "A girl?" I nodded. "That's wonderful. Is Ally excited?"
"I haven't told her yet."
My mom laughed. "My beautiful granddaughter." She put her hand on her stomach. "I'm sorry I won't get to meet you, but I will look over you. I love you." She said. She looked up at me. "I love you."
"I love you too mom." My siblings came in and I sat outside.
I'm not ready to lose her.
