Picture of Kyle to your right :)
“Kyle baby, as good looking as I find you, I have no intention of going through with this. We can just make a potato clock for our project. Something simple” I sat on my bed and pulled up my bra strap.
Kyle sighed clearly getting frustrated, “First of all, we are seniors in high school. We are not doing a damn potato clock. Second, it would be fun, different, and we would definitely get an A. And third, I will do whatever you tell me to do. I’m putting it all in your capable corrupting hands. Lastly, we only have to do this for three weeks, and then everything is back to normal.”
I had blocked him out after he said he would do whatever I told him to. I could use this little experiment to mess with Hannah. Though she seemed like an okay person and she didn’t bother me once today. I still disliked her.
“Okay Kyle, you’ve won me over. I do have a few conditions though” He rolled his eyes, “Please enlighten me" I scowled, “You will do whatever I say, no matter how stupid it is. You will just have to trust me. Things may seem extreme, but you will just have to believe I’m doing it for the good of the project.” Uncertainty flickered in his eyes, but he nodded. “I am trusting you Leigh. I don’t even know you, but I’m trusting you.”
“So when do we start?” I asked. “Tomorrow” he answered just as his phone rang. He looked at the caller ID, “Oh no, I forgot I had to be somewhere.” He stood up quickly, “We will start tomorrow morning. I’ll see you before first period. And let’s try and keep this a secret until the day this project is due. I’ll let myself out” He turned and left my room. I yelled, “Adios!” at his back, and laid down on my bed.
I heard him greet my mom, and the front door close. Oh God, my mom had seen him. She was probably going to pester me now. Just as the thought crossed my mind, she was standing in my doorway. I sat up, “How was work Tina?” She glared at me, “Don’t call me that. It’s mom to you. And work was fine. Now who was that handsome boy fleeing the house and jumping into the nice car a minute ago?”
I smiled, “That was Kyle. You’ll be seeing a lot of him for the next three weeks.” She raised her eyebrows but said nothing. “Well I got chinese, come on. I’m starving.” As soon as we got to kitchen, there was a knock on the door. My mom went to answer it while I started taking the food out of containers.
She walked back in, with a very high Carson following. I sighed, “What is it?” I asked as I went to the sink and cleaned another plate for him. “I saw your mom walking in with the chinese food” he said sheepishly. My mom laughed, “You’re welcome any time Carson.”
He smiled at her; “Thanks Tina” My cougar mom had the audacity to blush, “Why the hell does he get to call you Tina?” I almost yelled. She shrugged, “He’s nicer to me” and with that she walked into her room with her food. I scowled at her retreating back.
“Tina is so cool” I turned my scowl to Carson, “Don’t call her that and what do you really want? I know you didn’t just come over here for food”. I said as I heaped pork fried rice onto his plate.
He scratched the back of his head, “Food is half the reason ok. I have a serious case of the munchies”. I laughed, “I’d never thought I’d say this, but don’t you think you smoke a little too much?” He put his hand to his heart, and faked offence,” Why there is no such thing love” he said dramatically.
I rolled my eyes, “What’s the other reason?” I asked impatiently. He looked nervous, “Well it’s about a girl we hung out with today.” He said shyly. I smiled. I knew he liked Robin, and it was even more obvious that Robin liked him. They would be such a cute couple, the bad boy loner skater guy, with the short adorable book worm. I can see it now.
