Haha, new chapter. I know the story is progressing slow, but I really want you to get a feel of what her personality is like. Enjoy! Picture of Leigh to your right :)
I met everybody at the spot except Chase. I smiled, he was probably still dealing with the rent a cops. I honestly could care less if he got charged for disturbing the peace. He knew the risks of the game. I walked into the old shed and sat down on the worn cushion in the corner.
Our “spot” was actually just Reagan’s toolshed. He only lived with his dad, who worked all the time. So we were pretty much left alone out here. I looked over to Bethany who was sitting in Reagan’s lap whispering to him. I grimaced and turned my attention to Drew.
“Hey” I smiled at him, “wanna come over here and keep a lonely girl company”. He smirked and stood up, swaggering over to me. I struggled not to roll my eyes, didn’t he know he was just a replacement because Chase wasn’t here?
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have feelings for either of them, but out of the two? Chase was the sexiest. He stood at 6’1 with dark hair, while Drew was only two inches taller than my 5’8 height. Plus he was blond. I hated blonds. At least he had dimples, which he was showing off as he dragged a cushion next to me, sat down, and draped his arm over my shoulder.
“Of course I wanna keep you company”, he put his face in the crook of my neck and started kissing it. I let out a sigh, he knew what I liked. He put his hand on my stomach rubbing it softly. I ran my fingers through his hair. Someone cleared their throat and we pulled away to see a pissed off Chase glaring at us. Drew looked sheepish, I just shrugged. I didn’t belong to anyone.
“Dude, you got the stuff”, Reagan asked. Chase’s face broke out into a grin,” Of course, and this weed is the best shit I’ve ever had.” He walked over to Reagan, and they began rolling joints, me and Drew completely forgotten to Chase.
Drew moved over to them to help out, leaving me to my thoughts. That old hag Mrs. Ross had seen me. And she seems like just the type to go tell my mom. I sighed. If anything bad happened my mom would move us again. I hated moving. Not because I have friends, or because I like the area, but because packing and unpacking my room it such a tedious chore.
“Leigh? You hitting this?” Bethany called over.” I stood up and made my way over to them,”Yeah, pass it this way”. She handed me the lit joint. I brought it to my mouth and took a long pull, held it in for about seven seconds, and the released a cloud of smoke into the air. I repeated twice and then handed it over to Drew. Bethany tapped my shoulder and then blew smoke into my face, I sucked it into my lungs, and then let go.
I started to feel at ease, smiling more and talking a lot more. That is until Reagan’s dad beat down the door, shining a bright flashlight at all of us making us squint. Oh shit! Did I forget to mention he was a cop?
