“My life sucks.”

“Why on earth would you say that?” I asked my curly haired best friend. She stood in the kitchen, a room she was in more than her own bed room.

“I figured something out about myself.”

“And that is?”

“I’m a boring person.”

“You? A boring person? Please!”

“I am Chrissy! I’m a dull person. I was sitting down with Harry the other day and I realized there was nothing for me to talk to him about.”

“So then what did you guys do?” I asked without thinking.

“You really wanna know?” She asked, raising her eyebrows.

“I don’t.”

“Good.” She smiled,

“You’re not boring Lyssi,” I argued, “You’re a model, you just wrote a song and sang with Justin Bieber, and you’re doing a movie this summer which is going to be directed by Steven Spielberg and your dad.”

It was all true. Alyssa had spent years trying to find her biological dad, especially after her biological mom had passed away.

One day, Steven Fields, a famous Hollywood director came to our front door and announced that he was her father and even did a DNA test to prove it.

Now, this summer, she was going to LA to spend time with him and shoot a movie with Zac Efron and Alex Pettyfer in the cast.

It was mind blowing to this that my little psycho best friend was doing all this but it was true.

And of course, she had to go on and write a song with Justin Bieber.

“I have such a busy day today! It sucks.” Alyssa complained as she flipped her curly mane and looked at me.

“What’re you up to?” I asked, removing the strand of hair from her eyes.

“Oh. Um...I have class, and then a modelling shoot and then a double date.”

It was a particularly sunny Sunday afternoon, and Alyssa and I were in the kitchen, binging on some cookie dough ice cream and sharing the latest gossip we had heard.

In some ways, Lyssi and I hadn’t grown up a bit.

“With who?”

“Harry.” Alyssa said, looking at me with an odd expression.

“Well obviously, idiot! I just meant: who’s the other couple?”

Alyssa looked at me

“Um...no one.” Alyssa stuttered, avoiding eye contact with me.

 “Alyssa?”

“Yah?” She asked, still looking away.

“Who is it?”

“Just Niall.” She commented, acting casual.

But of course, I knew better.

“Oh...cool.” I said, trying hard to act as if this wasn’t the guy I loved and his girlfriend we were talking about.

“I don’t wanna go! I promise! It’s just that...you know, Niall insisted.” Alyssa tried to explain.

“No! Don’t worry!” I assured her, “I’m sure she’s a great person!”

“Great person my ass.” Alyssa scoffed. “She’s a two bit tramp!”

“ALYSSA ANASTASIA HART! Mind your language!” I scolded
