“So what are we doing today?” Alyssa asked as she came into my room and collapsed on my bed.

“I don’t know. What do you want to do?” I replied, straightening the last strand of my hair. I looked at myself in the mirror, skeptically, wondering if I had straightened the hair and the back of my head properly.

“I wanna do something with the boys. I mean, we saw them yesterday at the airport after like, ages and then tomorrow they have to fly to Italy for a few days tomorrow. We haven’t seen them since we met up at the airport yesterday. I mean, Harry hasn’t even texted because he was so busy. Man, it sucks to have famous boyfriends sometimes.”

“I know right? I mean, we hardly get to see them.” I complained.

“At least they’re hot. And you know, they love us. And the fact that they have good personalities.” Alyssa said, with a shrug. She twirled her hair, which had been straightened, causing it to turn a little wavy.

She looked up at the mirror and frowned at the waviness of her hair.

Instantly, she took my spare, hair straightener and gestured me to scoot over on my chair so she could look in the mirror properly.

“Personalities and the fact they love us is very important, but it’s mostly because their hot.” I joked.

Lyssi made a fake-surprised expression at me and I threw a stuffed animal at her and laughed.

“Christina Meghan Scott! Act like a well behaved lady of this society! You know it’s very hard to find gentlemen these days.”

“I know mom!” I teased, smiling at the fact that the situation was reversed this time. The girls usually called me mom.

“Shut up!”

“Well should we call them up?” I asked.

“Yah…” She trailed. We sat there for a moment, waiting for the other person to get their phone out. “Do you think we should call Tristan too?”

“Umm….I don’t know…” I told her. I fidgeted with the edge of my shirt, uncomfortably, avoiding her gaze.

“By the way, what happened between you guys? I mean, I know that before we left, you two broke up and all, but why? And you are acting mucho weird whenever he’s around you. Like, yesterday! I mean, you totally spaced out. The Chrissy I know does not space out! Especially because we were discussing the hotness of Paul Wesley and Ian Somerholder!” Lyssi said. She got up and walked to my floor length mirror and examined her outfit.

She was wearing grey skinny jeans, a blue, polka dotted, sleeveless collared shirt and a black blazer over top.

Overall, she looked very….British.

“Nothing happened.” I mumbled.

“Yeah, and me and Harry Styles are just friends.” Lyssi replied, sarcastically.

I sighed, knowing that eventually, I would have to tell her.

“Do you want the short story or long?” I asked.
