I was looking out on the beautiful view, with my head resting on Chris's chest. The morning sun was shining brightly, and I enjoyed the feeling of Chris playing with my hair.

"I like this." I said quietly.

"Like what?" Chris asked surprised.

"This. Being here with you." I answered, looking up at him.

A warm smile spread across his face, from my words.

Chris slowly turned us over, he leaned down and kissed me. I guess it was his way to return the words.

"What are we going to do today?" I asked curiously as he pulled away, and laid back on the bed, facing me.

"We could take Jack to the zoo." Chris suggested.

"Sounds fun." I answered smiling.

Suddenly the door opened, very slowly and quietly, making us both shift in the bed.

"Hey buddy." Chris said a bit surprised as Jack peeked out from behind the door.

Jack slowly walked to the bed, and climbed in. I guess he used to do that, when Chris and Anna were still living together.

He placed himself between us. Both Chris and I shifted, so we were facing each other. Jack looked between us and laughed.

"What's so funny?" Chris asked, chuckling happily. Jack just continued to laugh, so Chris started to tickle him making him laugh even harder.

"Who wants breakfast on the bed?" Chris asked after playing with Jack for a while.

"Me!" Jack and I said simultaneously. Chris chuckled before he got out of the bed.

I slowly sat up in bed, still covered with the sheets.

Suddenly Jack jumped out of bed, and ran of towards his room. "Jack? Where are you going?" I asked confused.

Only a few moments later, I heard the sound of his bare feet tapping against the wooden floor, as he ran from his room to the bedroom.

He ran into the room, with a bunch of thin kids books in his hands. "Can you read a story?" He asked sweetly, standing next to the bed.

"Of course." I answered happily.

He placed the books on the bed and climbed into bed again.

He made himself comfortable between my legs.

"What do you want to read?" I asked looking through the books he brought.

"This one." Jack said, pointing at the one with dinosaurs on the front page.

I grabbed the book, and held it in front of him as I read the story.

I guess Chris could hear, that we were reading stories, because he almost tiptoed into the bedroom with our breakfast. A huge warm smile, was plastered across his face, from the sight.
