I nervously reached for the test, next to me on the bed.
My hands were trembling, as I held the test in front of me.

Two lines.

I dropped the test on the floor, and stormed to the bathroom, because I felt sick.

I was sitting on the bathroom floor, panting and shaking from the shock, with heavy tears streaming down my face.

I couldn't be pregnant. The timing couldn't be worse.
Only a couple of weeks ago, I would have been excited about it, but now, it was the worst thing that could happen.

I somehow managed to drag myself back into the bedroom, where I picked up my phone and made a call.

"Hello?" A female voice said on the other end.

"Hey Amy. I know you're probably busy, but..." I started, with really shaky voice.

"What's going on? Where are you?" Amy asked concerned.

"At my hotel." I answered.

"I'll be there in ten." Amy said, before she hung up.

And as promised, she knocked on my door ten minutes later.

"Come in." I said, from the edge of the bed.

"Hey, what's going on?" She asked concerned, as she saw me.

She hurried to my side and placed her hands on my shoulders.

I picked up the test, who I had placed behind me on the bed, and handed it to her.

She looked shocked between me and the test.

"I'm sorry. I didn't know who to call." I said crying.

"Hey, it's okay. It's okay." Amy said, as she pulled me in for a hug.

We sat like that for a while.

"What are you going to do?" Amy asked quietly.

"I don't know. I don't want to raise a child on my own." I said through my tears.

"And you don't want to give it another shot with Chris?" She asked, with a weak smile.

"I can't." I said weakly.

"He probably won't even talk to me, after I left, the way I did." I added, getting annoyed by myself.

Amy gave me a weak but reassuringly smile.

_

The next day, I went to the doctor and got the pregnancy confirmed.
I was 9 weeks pregnant.

I should have been excited, but I was just worrying.

_

Amy was a great support, and checked on me multiple times trough the day, both at work, and when I was home.
She was a great friend.

Another week passed, and I finally made a decision about the baby.

I wouldn't go thought with the pregnancy.

I was going through some of my notes, with one of my co-workers as felt a pair of eyes on me. My whole body tensed, but I didn't dare to look.

I felt like someone knocked the air out of my lungs, as we finished up, and my eyes fell on Chris.

He immediately felt my stare, and turned his eyes towards me, even though he was talking to some of the other cast members.

I tried to avoid him through the while day.

We were almost done for today. I was working in the back, getting everything for the next day.
It was totally quiet, compared to the set.

The quietness, made me thinking. I placed a and over my belly.
The thought about this baby, made me want to cry.

"Melissa?" A familiar deep voice, said from the door.
