Chapter 29

I said goodbye to everyone I knew around set, before I returned to Chris.

"Are you ready?" He asked, still with a smirk plastered across his face.

"Yeah. What's going on?" I asked curiously.

"You'll see." Chris answered, before he led me away.

We got into his car and drove to my hotel.

I gave him a questioningly look, but he wouldn't tell me anything.

He almost dragged me to my hotel room. "Pack your stuff." Chris said, earning himself another questioningly look.

"All my stuff?" I asked confused. Chris nodded in response. I didn't even bother to ask again, because I knew he wouldn't tell me, what was going on.

He helped me pack my stuff and carried all my bags to his car.

"Put in your address." Chris said smiling, as he turned the Gps towards me.

I hesitantly put in my address. Maybe I would be able to get something out of him, on the 2,5 hour drive, to my home in San Diego.

"How do you think it went with Jack?" I asked insecurely.

"Perfect." Chris answered immediately, with a huge smile on his face.

"He's handling it amazingly." I said, almost with admiration in my voice.

"He is." Chris agreed.

"How are you feeling about, me having a child? We never really talked about that." Chris asked curiously, but also insecurely.

I took a deep breath before I answered.
"I wasn't thrilled about it in the beginning. But mostly because I thought it would take a lot of time, for him to get used to me." I started.

"But Jack is amazing." I chuckled.

"Yeah, he is." Chris chuckled too.

We finally arrived at my apartment.

"This is were I live." I said smiling, as we parked next to the building.

"Now, please tell me, what we"re doing here." I said with a playfully smile on my face.

"We're flying to Hawaii tonight." He finally revealed.

"Are you serious?" I asked in disbelief.

Chris nodded in response.

"I wanted to spend some time with you, before we start filming on Friday." Chris added.
