Chapter 28

I was so happy, I could explode. I just felt so lucky.

He just told me, that he loved me!

I could scream and dance around from happiness.

Chris placed another sweet kiss on my lips, before he had to return to filming.

I picked up Jack and found a chair in a good spot, so we could watch Chris.

Chris was just so funny, as Andy, and I felt so lucky, that I had the posibility to watch behind the scenes.

Jack was getting tired, so I took him to a quiet corner, where he eventually drifted off to sleep, sitting on my lap, with his head resting against my chest.

I felt really comfortable, having him in my arms. He was just so adorable, and he seemed to like and trust me too.

Suddenly I felt a presence approach us. It was Anna.

I immediately felt my heart jump into my throat.

"Hi." She greeted quietly, trying not to wake up Jack. Her warm smile surprised me.

"I didn't know, you would pick him up here." I said surprised.

"Chris asked me to." She answered smiling.

Why did he do that? I thought to myself.

"Did he behave?" She asked looking at Jack, as she sat down next to me.

"Yes. He's been really sweet and adorable all weekend." I said with a warm smile.

"Good. Chris was really excited and nervous about you two meeting each other. It meant a lot to him." She said, still smiling warmly.

"Me too." I chuckled. "But I think it went pretty well." I said smiling happily.

Anna smiled happily, back at me.

I wanted to hate her, for being Chris's wife. You know, I should hate her, shouldn't I?
But I couldn't. She was so sweet, and nice to talk to.

Suddenly Chris walked up to us, in the middle of me telling, Anna what we did over the weekend.

"Hey." Both Anna and I greeted simultaneously.

Jack was still sleeping peacefully.

Chris greeted us both, before he leaned down and placed a quick peck on my lips. I was really surprised, that he would kiss me, in front of his wife.

"Melissa told me, that you had a good time with Jack." Anna said, just as Jack stirred on my lap.

"Yeah. We had a really good time." Chris said smiling widely. He looked really  happy, which made my heart flutter in my chest.

Both Chris and said goodbye to Jack, before Anna left with him.
It was hard for Chris to say goodbye to Jack. He wouldn't see him for 5 weeks.

I turned to Chris, as Anna and Jack, was out of sight.

"Grab your things. I have a surprise for you." Chris said smirking widely.

"Okay." I said surprised.

"And maybe you should say goodbye to everyone." He added, still smirking as I was about to walk away from him.
