Chapter 31

I was cuddled up on the couch, together with Chris. It felt safe laying there, with my back against his chest and with his arm wrapped around my body. I really enjoyed these quiet moments with him.

We just laid there, in silence.

"I wish Jack was here." I said quietly, before I shifted and looked up at Chris.

Chris looked really surprised at me.

"Really?" He asked surprised.

"Yeah. I really enjoyed, spending time with both of you." I answered.

Chris's eyes searched for mine, as a huge smile crept onto his face.

"It almost felt like we were a real family." I said smiling sweetly.

"How can I be so lucky." Chris said smiling widely, before he leaned down and kissed me.

"I'm the one who's lucky." I said smirking, as our lips parted.

"I could ask Anna, if we could have him for a couple of days?" Chris suggested.

I just nodded in response, before I lifted myself, to place a soft kiss on his lips.

"And you don't mind, watching him, while I film?" Chris asked.

"No. Not at all." I answered smiling.

Chris got everything set up with Anna. Jack would join us in a few days.

Later in the afternoon we sat down on the huge front porch.

We sat on the porch swing, and just watched the beautiful surroundings. It was so exotic and quiet. I couldn't think of a better place to be, and I had this amazing man right next to me.

Suddenly Chris got up and walked inside.

Only a few minutes later, he returned with his guitar.

I smiled happily as he sat down and started to play.

I always loved to listen to him play, through the Parks and Rec series, and also enjoyed him playing and singing around the set.

"Please, play 5000 Candles In The Wind." I begged, smiling sweetly.

Chris chuckled, before he started to play and sing.

"Up in horsey heaven, here's the thing

We both chuckled as we finished.

"Why that song?" Chris asked smiling, as he put his guitar away.

"It's just so sweet." I chuckled.
