---------------Gah! I can't believe I've been so lazy with my posting and updating. You'd think I would post more chapters during the summer than during school, since summer you have more time. I'm REALLY sorry for the 4-5 month long wait. Heres a summary of what happened in the last chapter: Ok, so Maleas not at school. Fiera walks into someone, and that someone happens to be her long time crush Ryan Sampson. He walks her to her first hour, and Tony teases Golden for watching the whole ordeal by asking "Jealous?" Later, all the guys are walking home with Fiera, when they see Malea in front of her house with two men attacking her. In the middle of the fight, Josh hears them mention and anti-mutant serum. Josh tells Fiera this, resulting with Fiera knocking on the door and saying to Malea's dad, "We need to talk."

And thats what happened last time. I hope you enjoy this chapter! Thanks for reading!-------------

Malea

"Wh-what?! Hey young lady, what do you think your doing?" My Dad asked, ordering Fiera to answer him. As she ignores him, Fiera pushes herself past him and into our front room. Following in behind Fiera is the little boy who stopped her by whispering something in her ear, causing Fiera to glance in my direction with suppressed surprise.

Wh-what's with that look? I think, flabbergasted by Fiera's behavior. After an awkward second of staring at each other, Fiera turns to continue into the front room.

What in the world is going on?! First, it was those scary men, who, for some unknown reason, wanted to kidnap me. Second, Fiera has ninja moves and is friends with, which this is beyond odd, a bunch of guys I've never seen or heard of before. And third, all these people are pushing into my house, getting upset with my father for no apparent reason.

My dad turns to me, face flushed with anger. "Malea, who are these people? Friends of yours?"

As if on cue, I feel multiple presences come walk closer from behind me. I turn to see the guys that had been walking with Fiera. Nervously, I address my dad. "W-well, I don't know who these b-boys are, b-but Fiera is the friend I'd been talking to you about."

"Oh, really." Dad says in a dangerous tone. "Then I suggest you escort your soon-to-be-ex friend and her boyfriends out the door."

"Dad!" I exclaim. "They helped me when those men-"

"I don't need my daughter hanging around people who don't have respect for other people, so don't 'Dad' me." I scowl.

Out of the blue, the guy with black hair sighs, stopping the other boys at the edge of the couch we had finally arrived to. "Fiera, why don't you calm down and explain."

Fiera stops. We watch as the back of her shoulders rise and fall with a forced deep breath. Having calmed down, Fiera turns to face my dad, her demeanor looking more like it usually does. "I apologize for being rude and disrespectful. I should have addressed you more calmly, but I felt that Malea needed to know something that should come from you, her father, and I didn't think you would tell her, since you haven't told her yet."

"And what exactly do I need to tell my daughter that she doesn't know already?" My dad asked, having himself calmed down a little, but still sounding a little edgy.

"What exactly she is."

I see my father freeze up, looking almost like a statue. What's th-this all about? What I am? I give Fiera a crossed look.
