Laying atop the cheap bed placed in the corner of the room, otherwise known as down under as I mentioned before, I stared at the boards of the floor above. Sighing, I put the blade away and pressed my hands against my forehead, trying to get rid of the depressing thoughts for just one second. There is more important things than my self-wallowing. Like how my grades are dropping or how I still haven't cooked dinner for Andrew (Andrew is his father FYI). He'll freak if its not done when he gets home.

Hesitantly, I kick my long legs over the side of my bed, standing up. I need to get that done now. I don't want to see the consequence. Rushing up the stairs to reach the main floor, I peek my head around the corner to see if I'm clear. Hearing loud footsteps, I knew I was in deep shit. As I tried to race towards the kitchen, I tripped over one of his many bottles of beer that he never bothers to pick up but expects me too. "Look what the cat dragged in." His boots stopped in front of my eyes, causing me to follow his body until I was looking at the scruff of his beard. 'Never look me in the eyes, disgrace' the words he always says ring in my ears.

"Where is my dinner, you worthless piece of shit!" He dug his boot into my back, causing me to lose my breath. "Your mom didn't have to die for you!" He seethed as he grabbed me by my neck and slammed my head against the crumbling wall. I tried to focus on anything else then what was happening but it was hard when the truthful words he spoke stood out. "I bet your soulmate doesn't even want you. You don't deserve to even be alive, faggot! (*cringes* oh how I hate that word)" Hard punches were thrown at my stomach causing me to lean my body forward, wrapping my arms around my gut.
