Calum's pov (I found a love for calum's pov so sshhhhh)

Its only been a couple hours since I woke up from my strange dream. School was not helping my constant questioning about her. She's real, after everything people have been telling me. I have someone to love for eternity. Someone to hold and take care for. Someone that could possibly have an interest in me as well if she wasn't pulled away. Away from me and all my possibilities so now I'm all alone again. I can't help thinking like this. People are cruel and will do everything they can to cause you to crumble into pieces. The constant teasing. The occasional shove and name calling. They try to take down the weakest to increase their own power. Which is sickening.

I watch as students rush to the cafeteria to sit with unappetizing food in front of them as they continue to chat comically like it's a routine. And it is. Everyday, they complain about the below average food but still buy it anyway as some kind of excuse to talk about their problems and be bitchy without any faults. Yeah, I said it. You all know it's true. Dragging my feet against the tiles, I balanced the tray in my arms before dropping it on one of the middle back tables. This way I can hide without anyone having the need to sit next to me. (Is it sad that I do this? -Katie) I didn't expect anyone to actually attempt to be near me until Ashton Irwin decides that today is a good day to socialize with me.

"Hi, Calum right?" His voice was gentle as he slowly lowered onto the seat across from me but I wasn't sure of his intentions. "Yeah?" I tried to sound confident but my voice trembled slightly. "Well Calum," he smiled shyly, "how can I explain this? Um, my family adopted a boy yesterday and tomorrow he's attending this school. I was hoping you could help me and Michael to show him around?" I checked over his features to make sure he was serious. "Why me?" I needed to ask. Nervously chuckling, he avoided eye contact with me, "I have noticed you aren't super social. So I was thinking, you would get along with him since he doesn't really talk much either."

Smiling sadly, he added under his breath, "Plus, more people convincing him that everything is better now will be great." Sighing, I can clearly see he is obviously concerned about the boy so I agreed. "Ok, I'll do it." As soon as those words left my mouth, he jumped up surprised. "Really?!" He almost screamed. Nodding my head, I didn't expect him to hug me. "Thank you." Was whispered in my ear as he tightened his hold on me. "This means a lot to me." As soon as he came, he left.

I don't know if you really needed this but Ta-Da?!

-Katie
