Luke's pov

I held onto my chest, the feeling in my chest felt unfamiliar somehow until they eventually stopped trying to get my heart to work again seeing as it caused worse problems. Shortening of breath, blood falling from my eyes and above all, pain. An electrifying kind of pain that shocks my entire being without numbing me. Just to cause me more pain. "This has never happened before, we aren't sure what to do Mr. Hemmings." By the confusion on my face, the doctor quickly popped in " I meant Luke" before writing on his documents again. "We need to take samples from the blood from your eyes and arm to see if they are the same." Why can't I be normal? I closed my eyes for a brief moment to only open them seconds later as an image formed in my head.

Permanently cemented in my brain is a picture of a certain blonde women with pitch black eyes.

"-is memory is gone for the most part and we aren't sure this amnesia will be cureable but his symptoms are strange. Maybe time with his soulmate or parents could help but it isn't guaranteed." A little teenaged girl stood at the doorway. Her hair seemed like the color that used to be there was fading and her blue eyes weren't anywhere close to bright. "You should dye your hair again." She just giggled sadly, pulling at the ends of her hair. "I was thinking a pale orange." I like how she refused to talk about the seriousness of the situation. Providing a distraction on my over-working mind that was trying to recollect what it lost. "Why not bright orange?" "Because then I'd be a highlighter everywhere I go." Smiling, I turned to the worried hot guy from before who managed to look like a train ran over him. He was still hot, believe me. Nothing can stop his attractiveness. Thats not a word but it describes well.

"Are you ok?" His dark brown eyes look into mine, whatever color they are, and sighed. Plastering on a grin, he breathed out, "I could be better." and ruffled up my hair a bit. Looking up, I saw I had blonde locks falling in front. They should seriously give me a mirror because I have no idea what I look like. "Maybe you just need sweets." My eyes shone with innocence as I smiled like a child. "Sweets solve everything, Calum. Even just for awhile." The girl I still don't know the name of, sat down beside him on the floor. Why do these people not get chairs? "What can solve things forever?" He whispers glumly. "Well being sad sure doesn't." She states, barely being able to fully wrap her arms around him. "It only makes things seem worse..."

"But never put a fake smile on around everyone because eventually you'll burst and you'll be back to square one."

Those words somehow hit me hard.
